The Scripted award, presented by @RakeemOmar, goes to Three Little Birds, written by @LennyHenry. Congratulations! #rtsmidsawards
was a surreal pleasure handing out this award & announcing this great series as a winner 🏆
thank you @rts_mids for the opportunity
you know what’s crazy to me
flo are the only black british artists in the uk top 60 album chart
as in no other black british album past or present
(it would have been the entire top 100 if it wasn’t for the great mf doom who isn’t even alive)
last week there were only two black british artists on the entire uk too 100 album charts
one was myles smith’s debut & the other was by JLS - 15 years after it came out
(i haven’t included leigh-anne who’s featured as part of little mix)
