This is a serious issue. Musk, with control over a significant chunk of US defence is working for the Russians. He should be in serious trouble.
SpaceX Blocked A U.S. And NATO Satellite to Assist a Russian Intercept After Crippling Ukraine's Air Defenses The Math Proves the Reality that Musk doesn't want you to see. On Oct 13-14, SpaceX restricted Starshield/Starlink during a 39-missile Russian attack, cutting Ukrainian drone intercepts by 23% and stranding U.S. personnel in Kyiv. Forty-eight hours later (Oct 15), SpaceX blocked U.S.-licensed NRO, Space Force, and NATO radar satellite ICEYE-X36 in orbit so Russia's COSMOS 2612 weapon could intercept it (99.89%-99.98% posterior) Our Model Demonstrates that the Russian intercept of the US/NATO ICEYE X-36 satellite (contemporaneous with the throttling of Starlink) would not have been possible, and almost certainly not been attempted, without SpaceX resources. At a material opportunity cost, Russia sprinted its COSMOS satellite to intercept ICEYE X36. Based on a previous attempt in June during which X36 maneuvered to evade COSMOS, Russia knew that this would be successful only if X36 could not maneuver. On October 15, SpaceX fixed X36 in place by issuing a collision alert for a sub-kilometer approach with its Starlink 35856 when SpaceX's own data shows that the actual distance was 4.8-5.0x as great. SpaceX issued no warning to COSMOS despite the fact that its sprint was far more threatening than the stable X36 orbit. SpaceX did not maneuver its Starlink 35856 satellite to clear the supposed collision risk. How, absent coordination with SpaceX, could Russia have known that SpaceX would take actions that (a) misrepresented the danger posed by X36, and (b) resulted in the fixing of X36 thereby enabling COSMOS's successful intercept? Thus, SpaceX was directly involved in simultaneously compromising Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities. The conjunction of these two events makes innocent explanations untenable. The Pentagon Capture & Iran Round Two Trap: Pentagon CTO Emil Michael who cashed out $7M–$35M from Musk’s inner-circle SpaceX vehicles (M8/Gigafund 0.1 and M6/Valor M33 II) and KQ Partners / xAI (selling xAIfor $5M–$25M three days before taking over CDAO/OSCand 21 days before SpaceX bought xAI, while keeping M8, M6, M9, M10 & Nomadic open) and Pete Hegseth purged rival Anthropic in two hours, surrendered combat command over US drones used to attack Iran to Starlink’s "Terms of Service," and on October 2 named Musk Co-Director of Project Meridian to design the Pentagon's "Future of Warfighting" just as America enters Iran Round Twowith depleted Patriot/THAAD magazines and Russia feeding U.S. warship/aircraft locations to Tehran. SpaceX’s actions in Ukraine raise serious questions about its alignment with US security interests and its reliability as a cornerstone of US defense. These questions are particularly troubling given the effectively irreplaceable position SpaceX has been granted by the Hegseth/Emil Michael Pentagon. $SPCX $TSLA Our full quantitative analysis below w/ @streetwiseprof

There it is, ladies and gentlemen. The Economist has finally published a graph on migrant crime levels. I’m sure the usual suspects will be absolutely furious to discover that the data has once again refused to cooperate with their preferred narrative.

This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years. No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

So, if you want to drive a car you need to: Pay VAT on the car Pay annual road tax Pay Green tax on the fuel Pay fuel duty on the fuel+green tax Pay VAT on the fuel + green tax + fuel duty Pay mileage tax on every mile you drive using the fuel you paid tax on three times already

The fermented chilli sauce fermentation seems to have come to an end. The chillies are still a bit firm, so will leave them to macerate for a bit longer. I’ve also harvested the ripe habaneros, lemon chillies and the Machu Picchu peppers. Each will be used in a different way.

If I was given the job of Chancellor I would start with a Zero based budget. No funding for anyone. Zero. Every government department, ministry, Quango, charity, NGO, everyone, would need to explain what they plan to do, and why they need the money to do it. I have a feeling you could easily red pen between £100 and £200 billion overnight. And if you haven't passed an audit, you go into special measures immediately.

Car crash interview. £874 million to get about 4,000 people off the street. That’s £190,000 each. Buy them a house. Instead it’s contracts, outreach teams and councils deciding where the cash goes. Rough sleeping rose under Burnham in Manchester. Now we’re nationalising the failure.

The real criminality is that if you earn £200,000 you only get to see around £115,000 of it.

🚨 Putin plans to use Ukraine peace talks to push NATO back to its 1997 military posture According to The Telegraph, the Kremlin wants to force NATO to scale back its military presence in Europe to levels seen before Eastern European countries joined the Alliance. This could mean demanding the withdrawal of NATO forces from Poland, the Baltic states, and Finland. That is why Moscow is pushing for European countries to participate in negotiations over Ukraine. Diplomatic sources cited by The Telegraph say Putin wants to turn talks about ending the war into negotiations over the entire European security architecture. The issue may also have been discussed during Putin's three-hour meeting with Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, in St. Petersburg. However, European countries have previously rejected the Kremlin's demands to reduce NATO's military presence on its eastern flank.

Putin has nearly half the number of air defence systems protecting his lake house as the entirety of Moscow
Panic much? 🐒 Putin has established over 50 air defense positions around his residence in Valdai – nearly half the number around Moscow and the Moscow region. Just in October, another 16 air defense towers were built there. In six months, the number of positions has almost doubled.

This is one of the most blatant examples of gaslighting you’ll ever see. This clip sums up the Labour Party. It sums up Angela Rayner. And, frankly, it sums up too most politicians. Laura Kuenssberg asks Rayner about Andy Burnham opening the door to a return to freedom of movement. He’s started the debate by talking about it. Kuenssberg: “The Labour manifesto in 2024 said in black and white ‘there will be no return to freedom of movement’. You stood on that manifesto. Andy Burnham promised to stick to that manifesto. He’s breaking that promise, isn’t he?” Then this from Rayner: “No he isn’t, because he’s been really clear that this Parliament, that manifesto, we are clear we are not reopening that debate.” Unbelievable. Even by her standards. Kuenssberg put her right immediately: “He’s literally just reopened this debate. It’s exactly what’s just happened.” She denies the debate has been reopened in the same breath as it is being reopened. They will say anything, no matter how obviously contradictory. We watch car crash after car crash from Labour ministers, yet they keep rising in the polls. No wonder the country is in such a mess.
