Why do we try to control the pathogens when we could instead support the natural ecosystem? A challenge issued to the turf industry by @RandyBookerOCGC at #OTS2023
The opportunity of a lifetime, I’m very proud and excited to be part of such a passionate group of people. m.facebook.com/story.php?sto…
Bentgrass Practise facility Tee that is on a biological program including humic, fulvic, Trichoderma, fish hydrolysate, amino acids, lucerne tea, compost and extracts , sea minerals and traces amongst a few others. Solid tined only with no topdress. 1/2
2/3 this area has received 1 app of grub control last year (apologies for missing that point prior), no herbicides or fungicides have been applied in the prior 3 years to this specific practice tee area. This program is being transitioned out to other course areas as well.
I deleted the original tweet as a good friend colleague of mine who’s opinion I value noted some points that may have been misleading and that is certainly not any of my intent. I will repost being more specific as to location and the program that this area receives.
👍 the trace minerals are the real workhorse of any biological system. Without them the enzymatic activities can’t happen. We have to quit reducing it down to NPK and think about the WHOLE system
Sea-Crop®🌊 liquid concentrate is an excellent supply of over 85 minerals & trace #minerals including #Magnesium, #Potassium, #Calcium & #Boron for your #turfgrass. #SeaCrop is naturally-derived from ocean water & can be combined with #turf #fertilizers ⛳️ bit.ly/3IzafFP
2022 Turf Challenge is to rely more on the soil and it’s ability to work for us. We need to be more conscious of how we can help soil life instead of just extracting from it. #regenerativeturf #CREATEagroecologists

The world wants you to buy their fertilizer….buy their leads.
Leads make you weak…they make you dependent on the supplier.
Make your own. Replace what’s above and below and turn your customers into your sales force. It isn’t fast, but it’ll last.
If you care about the future of the planet…a must watch. Golf must start the paradigm shift from chemical to natural/regenerative. Time to stop the extractive process that golf has followed for the last 100 yrs #CREATEagroecologist #regenerativeturf soillearningcenter.com/to-wh…
What an amazing experience to dive down the paradigm shift, mindset, ecology, soil biology and the 5 M’s of regenerative management for turf. Our current turf management systems need to change and I’m ALL in thanks to Nicole Masters
Mind blowing to think I’m in this place of learning with/from Nicole Masters. Blessed and unbelievably fortunate 🤯
Excited to announce I’ve been invited to learn alongside the Worlds leading Agro-ecologist Nicole Masters this winter in the Integrity Soils Create program. Humbled that I survived the application process. We’ll be diving deep into soil biology, plant ecology and system thinking
True that 👍
With the fertilizer prices on the rise, look into regenerative practices and use things like humates, fulvic, and kelp to reduce costs and increase quality. We are here to help you succeed!

“You’re crazy, you see what Booker is doing at OC, it can’t be done”…well it can be done. No synthetics, no fungicides, no topdressing-lots of biology, lots of microbial foods, nature’s doing the work. Oh yea almost forgot-no thatch, fast and firm to boot. Regenerative turf 👍
Microbial life is producing some pretty good colour and turf. Proof of the Regenerative Greenkeeping approach at OC #undergroundworkforce
