The Rangers Journal

🚨 Fan Player Ratings | Hearts 2 - 2 Rangers @MitchLR reviews Rangers' night as we escape Tynecastle with a draw. Pandur - 6️⃣ Wasn’t helped by half the backline deciding tonight was the night to drop a stinker. Some important saves and important at pushing the backline up following the equaliser to create more urgency. Sterling - 4️⃣ One of those mentioned in Pandur's comments, defensively suspect and beaten regularly. Missed an open goal for a late, undeserved winner and was generally speaking off his usual game. Fernandez - 3️⃣ Was a heat magnet for all the wrong reasons throughout. Clumsy in the challenge and slack with his passing. Surprised he played the full game and that’s not being dramatic. Just one of those nights that nothing or anything was particularly sticking. Makhanya - 6️⃣ Some important defensive work and cropped up with the equaliser with a great header. Feel like can’t rate higher as still part of a defence that shipped in two. Penrice - 4️⃣ A rare poor night lost his man on a few occasions and didn’t really push forward as he has in recent games. Just looked a bit out of ideas subbed on the hour. Raskin - 6️⃣ Hampered by an early yellow card for the team but had to get through a power defensively, in particular to cover for some of the mistakes being made. Neil - 4️⃣ Just wasn’t his night tonight, too often in the first half the team ignored the midfield and opted for hoof ball giving the midfield very little to work with. Gassama - 2️⃣ Honestly why bother as posted MIA in the first half and was given 10 minutes to redeem himself after half time before being hooked. Beyond poor, needs to do something about his footwear for the winter because slips and slides aren’t going to win the hearts and minds. Min-Su - 4️⃣ Relatively poor night tonight but did manage a couple of good deliveries in. Won’t be too harsh on him for an off night. Naderi - 7️⃣ Excellent work for the opener and was entirely unselfish to ensure we took the lead but was starved of service throughout game. A forager in a barron field. Kelsey - 7️⃣ As above, starved of service. A lovely finish for his goal though and got stuck into the physical battle. Will have more slick and sexy performances but took his goal well. 🔄 Substitutes Rommens - 5️⃣ Offered more running into the space when he came in and put a couple of good balls into the box. Bouanani - 6️⃣ Looked lively when he came out and put in a brilliant ball for the second. Made an impact but could have done a bit better when in clear in the hearts box. Chukwuani, Curtis and Miovski - N/A - Late subs could do little, although Curtis did manage to win a couple of fouls and put in a lovely cross that Sterling should have won the game from.

Would you recall this man in place of Manny tonight? Don’t think we can afford Mannys concentration levels tonight 😂
