‘Million Pound Shot’ on Channel 4 was really good, a really poignant and clever show to put on. And I’d definitely recommend watching it because it may be marketed as a quiz show, but it cleverly makes you uncomfortable before revealing what it’s really about

I really want to ask AI creators whether they have lost someone they care about, felt that unimaginable pain and unfathomable loss. I really want to ask them if they've generated pictures and videos of said people, funnelled their voices into data.
I want to know what they would think if someone walked up to them with a generative video of the people they love saying something they would never say. I want to know what those people they lost would think of such a practice and what these AI creators would think they would say

There's a massive difference between an impressionist playing a character and parading the image of someone's deceased loved one around like a puppet, making them say things they never would have said and doing things they never would have done. Peverse
You actively throwing about the word psychosis when AI has been actively proven to cause genuine psychosis is genuinely horrifying and unbelievably insensitive
When a voice actor does an IMPRESSION of a character that another actor has played, they are doing their take on the character, their impression of the CHARACTER and are doing it respectfully.
AI creates an uncanny puppet of the ACTOR and uses their likeness in a horrific way
Taking someone's appearance or voice and channeling it through AI misunderstands everything about what it means to be human and is utterly disrespectful and parasitic. Impressions hold nuance and humanity, respect and love for performance, craft and character.
