🚨 EDWARD SNOWDEN’S CHILLING WARNING IS NOW UNFOLDING IN REAL TIME What China built… is exactly what Western governments are quietly preparing for. Snowden is crystal clear: Every photo, every purchase, every message, every movement — all of it is being fed into algorithms that decide your future. In China, AI “city brains” now track: Where you live Who you visit How you dispose of your rubbish Every step you take in public Whether you “follow rules” or not Break a rule? A camera catches you from three angles. Your score drops. Your life collapses. Snowden’s warning: “If any of your activities differ from what the government wants, you won’t get on a train. You won’t board a plane. You won’t get a job. An algorithm will decide your fate. And what they are selling… is us.” This is not a future threat. It is happening now — in Shanghai, in Beijing… and creeping into the West through digital ID, AI policing, and “misinformation scoring.” China built the prototype. Our governments are importing the blueprint. Stay informed. Stay alert. Do not let this system take root.

Kim Basinger went bankrupt over a film she never made and a contract she never signed. In 1993 a Los Angeles jury ordered her to pay $8.92 million, more than everything she owned. In 1989 she was Vicki Vale in Batman. That year a group she led agreed to pay $20 million for most of Braselton, a small Georgia town near where she grew up. In 1991 she rode in with ABC's Chris Wallace and said: "This is peace to me. This is life." In January 1991 she agreed to star in Boxing Helena, the first film by David Lynch's daughter. A full contract was drafted, and nobody signed it. In June, after her new agency read the script, she pulled out. The producers sued, saying her spoken yes was a binding deal. In March 1993 the jury agreed. Two months later she filed for bankruptcy. The town her group bought as a dream became an asset in it. Two years earlier, she had called it peace. In 1994 an appeals court threw out the verdict, and she settled for $3.8 million. The town was later sold for a fraction of the price. In 1998 she won the Oscar for L.A. Confidential. In numbers. Independent films borrow against sales made before shooting. Her name was the collateral. Sales the producers said they lost when she left: more than $6 million. What the jury ordered her to pay: $8.92 million. Everything she owned at the time: $5.39 million. Selling all of it would still leave her $3.53 million short. The settlement: $3.8 million, about 70% of everything she owned. The star said yes and never signed. The producers borrowed millions against that yes. The jury ordered her to pay more than she owned.

Every time a German Messerschmitt pilot wanted to escape a Spitfire on his tail, he did the same thing. He pushed the nose down. In a dive, the German engine kept running — it used fuel injection. The British Spitfire's engine cut out. For one and a half seconds the Merlin went dead, the aircraft shuddered, and by the time it caught again the German was gone. Worse: if a German was behind a British pilot and the British pilot dove to escape, the German could follow and keep shooting while the British engine was silent. Pilots were dying because of a carburetor. The engineers at Farnborough knew about the problem. They were working on a long-term solution — a redesigned carburetor that would take years to perfect and manufacture. A woman named Beatrice Shilling fixed it with a washer. She was born in Hampshire in 1909 and was the kind of child who spent her pocket money on Meccano sets and tools. At fourteen she bought her first motorbike. Her mother, with the inspired instinct of someone who understood what her daughter actually was, found the Women's Engineering Society and arranged an apprenticeship at an electrical firm. She went to Manchester University — one of the first two women ever to study engineering there — graduated with a degree in electrical engineering, stayed another year for a master's in mechanical engineering, and in 1936 joined the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough as a scientific officer. By the late 1930s she was one of the best carburetor engineers in Britain. She was also one of only three women to hold the British Motorcycle Racing Club's Gold Star — awarded for lapping the Brooklands racing circuit at over 100 miles per hour on a motorcycle. She had reportedly told her future husband, an engineer named George Naylor, that she wouldn't marry him until he earned his own Brooklands Gold Star first. He earned it. They married in 1938. The problem with the Merlin was specific and lethal. The SU carburetor used a float chamber to regulate fuel flow. Under negative g-forces — the forces experienced in a sudden dive — the fuel flooded to the top of the float chamber and starved the engine for 1.5 seconds. Just enough time for a German pilot to turn the tables entirely. The RAF had known about this since the Battle of France. The formal solution — a redesigned pressure carburetor — was in development but wouldn't be ready for years. Shilling was thirty-one years old, working in carburetor research, and she designed a fix in weeks. A brass thimble with a precisely calibrated hole in the center — later simplified to a flat washer — fitted inline in the fuel line just before the carburetor. It restricted maximum fuel flow to just enough to prevent flooding without cutting off power. The key breakthrough: it could be fitted without taking the aircraft out of service. No downtime. No factory return. The old guard at the RAE looked at it and called it a plumbing fix. They called her a plumber. The first batch of 5,000 units was made by a Birmingham firm that normally manufactured plumbing fixtures, which they found embarrassing. The RAF pilots who flew Spitfires with Messerschmitts on their tails called it something else. They called it Miss Shilling's Orifice. With deep affection. By March 1941 she had organized a small team and was personally touring RAF fighter stations across England — traveling between bases on her old racing motorcycle — fitting the device to every Merlin engine they could reach. Squadron leaders all over the country were demanding installations. The word spread faster than the official channels could keep up with. The Germans noticed. They couldn't explain why British fighter pilots had suddenly started following them into dives. They were baffled by the new aggression. They didn't know about the washer. The restrictor remained in use until 1943, when the full pressure carburetor finally arrived. It had kept British pilots alive for two years in the middle of the war they couldn't afford to lose. After the war she worked on the Blue Streak missile. She studied what wet runways do to braking distances. She helped design a bobsled for the RAF Olympic team. In 1967 she solved overheating problems on an Eagle Mk1 Formula 1 car. She never received a top promotion at the RAE. Such positions, she was told, were for men. She received an OBE in 1949. The citation said "services to aviation." It did not mention the washer. She retired from the RAE in 1969. She kept racing motorcycles and sports cars. She modified and tuned both in her home workshop until she couldn't anymore. She died on November 18, 1990. She was 81. The Battle of Britain is one of the most documented events in British military history. Hundreds of books. Dozens of films. Memoirs by the pilots who flew in it. Almost none of them mention the carburetor problem. Almost none of them mention her. The pilots who benefited most never knew her name. They just knew that when they pushed the nose down, the engine kept running.

I am a U.S. permanent resident with over seven figures in U.S. dollars in savings and investable assets, a stable career, income, and property. I have never been denied a visa by any country, nor have I ever violated the immigration laws of any country. Yet over the past four years, the Schengen visas issued to me have become progressively shorter and more restrictive. In 2023, France granted me a 90-day multiple-entry visa. Naturally, I expected that my excellent travel history would qualify me for a longer visa upon reapplication. Instead, my second French visa was reduced to just 30 days, albeit with multiple entries. I considered this not only a disregard for my impeccable record but also an insult to a law-abiding traveler. I therefore decided to abandon France and apply to Spain instead—a country I had mistakenly believed would be more welcoming to Chinese visitors. To my astonishment, Spain proved even worse. Despite my history of holding two French Schengen visas, Spain granted me only a one-month, single-entry visa, with its validity calculated almost precisely to match my travel itinerary, leaving virtually no flexibility. I assumed that applying to Spain a second time, with an even stronger travel record, would at least earn me a six-month multiple-entry visa. Once again, Spain disappointed me: 33 days. Single entry. This is how certain European countries treat a financially secure, law-abiding traveler with U.S. permanent residency and an impeccable international travel record. The irony is extraordinary. On the one hand, these countries impose increasingly burdensome restrictions on legitimate tourists. On the other, they have opened doors for years to illegal immigrants and third country refugees. They are remarkably stingy toward visitors who respect their laws, appreciate their cultures, and contribute to their tourism economies. Yet when confronted with genuine threats to public order, they just sit and do nothing. I initially wanted to condemn these immigration officers in the harshest possible words for their arrogance, shortsightedness, and upside-down mentality. However, after reading recent news reports about violent incidents in France and Spain, my anger has gradually turned into a sense of relief. Of course, I do not wish violence upon innocent people. But these reports have reminded me of something important: Why should I go to such lengths to obtain permission to visit countries where public safety itself has become a source of concern? I once believed that these visa officers were rejecting me. Now I realize that perhaps they have unintentionally helped me avoid unnecessary risks. They seem to believe that they alone possess the power to decide who deserves to enter Europe. What they forget is that travelers also have the freedom to decide which countries deserve their time and money. My wealth can be spent anywhere in the world. My vacations can take place in countless destinations. I have absolutely no need to beg any country for the privilege of spending my own money within its borders. If a country cannot show basic respect to law-abiding visitors or provide a travel environment in which they feel safe, then the most appropriate response is simply to take my time and money elsewhere. Looking back, perhaps it was precisely the stinginess of these visa officers that spared me from potentially encountering violence or other unnecessary risks in their countries. I used to be furious that my visas kept getting shorter. Today, I am grateful that I no longer feel any need to visit these countries. Perhaps everything happens according to God’s plan. Thank God!

Creamy Cheddar Beef Pasta 🍝🧀 🛒 Ingredients 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 pound lean ground beef 1 medium yellow onion, chopped Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste 1 teaspoon chili powder 1 teaspoon paprika 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 pound short cut pasta (such as shells, rotini, or penne) 1 zucchini, grated (about 1 cup) 2 cups low-sodium beef broth 1½ cups milk (any type you normally use) 1½ to 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 tablespoon ketchup Fresh parsley, chopped, for serving 👩‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions Start by heating the olive oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped onion and ground beef, seasoning lightly with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 10 minutes, breaking the beef apart with a spoon as it browns. The onion should become soft and fragrant, and the beef should be fully cooked and nicely browned. Once the beef is cooked, stir in the chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook for another minute to allow the spices to bloom and coat the meat evenly, releasing their aroma and deepening the flavor. Add the dry pasta directly to the pot along with the grated zucchini. Toss everything together so the pasta is well coated with the seasoned beef mixture. Pour in the beef broth and milk, then add the ketchup. Stir well to combine and season lightly with additional salt if needed. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat slightly and let it simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking. As the pasta cooks, it will absorb the liquid and release starch, helping to naturally thicken the sauce. The zucchini will soften and blend into the mixture, making the sauce extra creamy. When the pasta is just al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed, reduce the heat to low. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, adding it gradually and stirring constantly until fully melted and smooth. Continue cooking for another few minutes until the sauce becomes rich, creamy, and coats the pasta beautifully. 🍽️ Serving Suggestions Divide the creamy cheddar beef pasta among serving bowls and finish with a generous sprinkle of fresh parsley for color and freshness. Serve immediately while hot and melty. This dish pairs well with a simple green salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
