We don’t give a shit, go the fuck home.
You really have to be a special kind of a hater to feel demoralized by an immigrant getting a green card legally.
Think about what many employment-based immigrants go through. Their employers navigate prevailing wage requirements, recruitment, and the PERM labor-certification process, which alone is currently taking around a year on average at the Department of Labor’s adjudication stage. After that, applicants may still face years of waiting for a green card because of visa backlogs.
These are people who have spent years working, paying taxes, contributing to the economy, and following a legal process that can be painfully slow and uncertain.
You can debate immigration policy. You can debate visa caps. You can debate whether the system should be reformed.
But being resentful of someone who followed the rules and is finally receiving the permanent residency they legally qualified for is a different thing altogether.
And when the target is a high-skilled immigrant who has built a career, contributed to the economy, and waited years for legal permanent residency, it’s fair to ask: Is this really about protecting American workers, or is it simply resentment toward immigrants succeeding?
Sidharth, who is practically on track to win Indian subversive Propagandist of the year. Somehow thinks any Republican in Texas gives a fuck what the Bush family thinks.
Marco Rubio is wrong, we hate you.
Is America turning against Indians? 🇺🇸🇮🇳
US @SecRubio says anti-Indian hate isn't widespread in the U.S.
But as anti-Indian rhetoric gains attention online, a bigger question emerges: Is social media amplifying a vocal minority, or reflecting a deeper shift?
What are NRIs experiencing?
