I sit in VCs with Cupseyy Dior and Cap a lot while going about my day. Those guys know there are plenty of days where I'm out delivering Uber Eats just to stay humble and remind myself where I came from. I'll literally be making deliveries, checking charts on my phone and aping into plays I believe are undervalued and deserve to go higher. Today, a bunch of the other guys in my GC found out I still deliver Uber Eats and genuinely couldn't believe it lmao. The funny thing is, some of the most interesting people I've met and connections I've made have come from doing Uber. I've met people with millions who treat a janitor with the same respect they'd give a CEO, and I've met people who made their first $100k and suddenly think the world owes them something. That difference in character tells you everything. I literally met the fund manager for Royal Bank of Canada through Uber. We got talking, built a genuine connection, and the dude ended up buying the same Porsche I drove him in HAHAHA. We're still friends and chat from time to time. You genuinely never know who you're going to meet or what opportunities a simple conversation can lead to. That's something I've learned to appreciate so much. But here's something I've always believed: Never let the money you make convince you that you're above the work that made you who you are. I don't drive uber because I have to. I do it because I never want to become the kind of person who forgets what an honest day's work feels like. There's something incredibly grounding about doing ordinary things, meeting people from completely different walks of life and realizing that everyone has their own story, struggles and ambitions. Money should give you freedom, not a superiority complex. No matter how successful I become, I never want to lose the ability to connect with people or forget the value of a dollar. There's absolutely no shame in hard work. The real shame is believing you've become too important to do it.

There are way too many opportunists in this space, and far too many people looking to take advantage of me or fuck me over for their own benefit. I know there are a few of you who genuinely reach out just to have a conversation, and I have nothing but respect for that. But for my own peace of mind, I've decided that I will no longer be opening or reading any DMs. I've always tried to make myself accessible, but unfortunately, not everyone approaches you with the same intentions you have for them. My performance will never deteriorate because the mindset and principles that got me here will never change. Every single day, I wake up with one goal: to find the right opportunities, not just for myself, but for the people who have put their trust in me. I'm not perfect. I don't have a crystal ball, man. I've never pretended to. I've always said one thing: If we win, we win fairly. If we lose, we lose together. Nobody gets left behind intentionally. I've never believed in building a following through handouts. I'd much rather teach someone how to fish than feed them for a day. Because the real reward for me isn't just making money. It's seeing people develop the conviction, patience, and understanding to eventually make it on their own. People criticize me, question my intentions, and throw hate my way every single day. Some even pray on my downfall. But I refuse to let any of that turn me into someone I'm not. I still wake up with the same positive mindset, the same hunger, and the same genuine desire to see the people around me succeed. I don't need everyone to like me. I don't need everyone to agree with me. And I certainly don't need to prove myself to people who have already made up their minds about me. I just need to keep showing up, staying true to my principles, and letting my actions speak over time. Markets will change. Narratives will come and go. There will be wins and there will be losses.
