Ask most providers where your data sits, and the answer arrives as a report. Written after the fact, describing what happened.
On our network the question is answered earlier. You set the conditions first — which jurisdictions are allowed, who may reach the file, what happens on access. Only then is the data encrypted, split, and placed, and only onto nodes that match what you set.
A node outside your conditions is not a violation to catch later. It never receives the file.

Polymarket gave MongoDB a 97% chance of beating its earnings target - and it did. EPS came in at $1.90 versus the $1.61 line.
Then the stock dropped 14%.
The problem wasn’t the headline result. Investors expected Atlas growth above 30%, while MongoDB reported 29%.
