So glad to work at an all-inclusive school that allows children to share their stories! The Day You Begin read aloud youtu.be/VyrBwtZ93lc via @YouTube @STE_Stallions
5/5 stars! Della’s matter-of-fact narration manages to be as funny and charming as it is devastatingly sad. . . . This is a novel about trauma and the scars it leaves on bodies, minds and hearts. But more than that, it’s a book about resilience, strength and healing
If you work with children on a daily basis, or if you have a child on the spectrum, I *highly* recommend this book! @Bprizant1e’s Uniquely Human is a must for educators.
