Critiquing the industry is easy. Log in, post tweet, get likes, pat self, log out. It's an assembly line for dopamine production.
The measure of a man is whether he can apply those standards to his own work.
I can, and I do.
The odds of a random X account actually finishing their stated book or game project are roughly 1 in 20. The odds of that project being successful—generously speaking—are another 1 in 10.
That means 0.5% of accounts talking about content creation will actually deliver something of note. If you want to be part of something in that margin, it would be my privilege to show you.
My project updates will be sparse. Time spent talking is time spent not building. But when I do draw back the curtain, you are going to see a world built on genre innovation and an unflinching look into the darker aspects of humanity. I don't let the reader look away until the message is evident.
No pulled punches, lowered temperatures, or tone-monitoring. It is dark not for its own sake, but because it needs to be and, once built, it will stand the test of time.
I invite you all to watch it take shape.
In the meantime, I will continue to offer game, film, and book analysis, focusing on both the positive and the negative.
Praise, not glaze. Critique, not bait.
Bonus: I won't even need $300M to make it happen.
Some fun science for @MadamSavvy
Hamburger Hambly tacitly admitting he's either lying about keto or how many drinks he had, or both.
Silly goose, if you have a single drink while abstaining and on keto, your BAC will spike quicker and you'll feel it more, but hangovers aren't predicated on the immediacy of dehydration, rather the duration of a dehydrative state.
Because a liver used to steady ketosis would cause quicker metabolism of alcohol as a macronutrient, the diuretic window is drastically reduced. Yes, your glycogen stores are depleted, making you more prone to dehydration from the resultant electrolytic flush, but a hangover would only be likely over multiple drinks over an extended period of time, not a single drink as you claimed.
The very nature of how ketosis affects you metabolically would protect you against a hangover from a single drink, you obese nitwit. Your window of replenishment before a dehydration headache taking hold would be vastly superior to someone on a high-carb diet forced to metabolize the alcohol through a liver less sensitive to insulin; such a liver would otherwise take its sweet time and not spike the acetaldehyde.
tl;dr - Drink a glass of water and eat a pretzel, dumdum. You'll be fine, princess.
I just discovered there's a group of content creators with a weird obsession of wanting to roofie women at Halo events "as a joke".
Gosh dang, just go get an escort at this point lmao. Such degenerates

If you think this is acceptable behavior in discourse, leave social media. If you can't let your takes stand up to scrutiny, then you should receive all the attention a coward deserves, which is none at all.
I find it ironic that you told me to not rely on AI for my answers, only for you to turn around and—without a shred of self-awareness—post two images of an AI response to bolster your otherwise absurd and baseless claim. It seems your aspersions about AI were mere projection of your own inability to debate on facts gleaned from your time in the profession.
It also explains why you simply didn't show the medical literature instead.
To close out that point, it's worth noting that you didn't show the prompt for said responses, rendering them useless from the onset. On to the next, then.
Kendall, your own experiential knowledge is so glaringly lacking, you felt the need to shore up the defenses of your already flimsy line of argumentation by making statements that are quite frankly absurd, and more indicative of a panicked response than they are reasoned debate.
"I've worked in the ER"
"My brother is actually a doctor"
The first statement is intentionally misleading to the point of being insidious. The latter is a shameless appeal to authority (a fallacy in and of itself), that doesn't even point to your own expertise. You had to bring a family member into this to bolster your claim.
Your brother being a doctor makes for cool Thanksgiving conversation. It isn't relevant here.
Kendall, you're an X-Ray tech.

You asked for the credit, bub. Here it is.
Good job not being able to read the very obvious words "melee attack".
Remember this the next time you want to insult people for being slow, using that epithet you love to toss around so much.
Stay humble.

I made no claim on what will happen to people who do not know Christ on their day of judgment.
I said Sheriff lied. Because he did, and still does. That's what the video was for.
The notion that I follow a "sanitized feminist Christianity" is false.
Please read before crafting replies, moving forward. You missed a fairly obvious point in a way that borders on impressive.
Be well, and God bless.

False Christians who cloak themselves in righteousness are truly some of the softest people on the planet.
Few will block you faster or refuse to engage in civil discourse than someone who claims to be redeemed by blood of the Lamb, the moment you have them even glance in the direction of a mirror.
If you're reading this and you don't know Christ, and men like this (I use "men" loosely) have been your prevailing experience with the Christian faith, I get it.
I don't agree with you, because I know what a close relationship with Christ feels like, looks like, and does for the soul.
But I get it.

You make it difficult for others to effectively share the Gospel when you lie so easily and frequently.
If you cared about bringing people to Christ, you'd fade from streaming, with how tainted your witness is.
Your focus is clearly the spotlight and your ego, not salvation.
Since people are going to ask, here's mine. You have no idea how difficult this was.
This is not to say that these are my nine favorite games. I answered the question asked. The games that had the most impact on me for one reason or another.
So, yeah. Lot of RPGs.

People are pointing out that the guy doesn't splash into the lava.
That's not the problem. The problem is he falls into it period.
Lava is about 100K times more viscous than water and three times more dense. Even if it were simple molten steel or iron, the guy would make an indent (it's actually *more* dense than lava, but less viscous), stay on the surface, then incinerate.
What I find far more telling is the fact that in a $300M game, they couldn't even make Logan's foot come into contact with the guy, nor could they make the animation smooth. It awkwardly pauses before he's launched.
Remember kids, this is the "best game Insomniac has put out" according the PS Store review scores and everyone that's on X "having a blast™".
"It's like Victah always said: Life is like a box o' mutations. You nevah know what you gonna get."
"I got me one of them million dollah wounds, but mah healing factor fixed it right up. It was when I was fightin' alongside my best good friend Blob-ba."

Fellow Decreed, tell me. Have you played the first game (2023)?
It started out extremely rough. It had major flaws. But the amount of love and care they put into patch after patch makes it evident that CI Games really cares about their fans.
The overarching story, the lore, the build variety, and atmosphere were so strong even when it was janky that I gave the game a 9.
If I were to reassess with fresh eyes, I'd likely give it a 9.5 only on account that there are still issues with the game which are fundamental to how the game was built and can't really be patched.
I want to let CI Games cook, so I won't list those things unless asked. Let's say, for now, they don't look to be present in this game from everything I've seen thus far, and I have watched a considerable amount of content regarding the production of the sequel.
The current iteration of the 2023 game is such that the flaws are so few, and the strengths so great in number, that it's one of my first recommendations for people wanting to get into the genre.
Once health permits and I return to streaming, it will be the first game I play.
I am in awe of @tyminski_marek @Ryvnhll and what the team of @CIGamesOfficial has accomplished and continues to do.
Also, shameless plug, my DMs are open if that writing job still needs to be filled ;)
