#NASCAR... @RFKRacing had everybody's jaws on the ground in Stage 1 at @TALLADEGA, with their strategy call to hit the gas and get their trio out front by more than 45 seconds at one point. They finished 1-2-3 in the stage by 17+ seconds.

Brad Smith ran a 60.38-second lap, which was 39th fastest in practice during the ARCA Menards Series practice at Talladega in April. The leaders in the NASCAR Cup Series race were running similar speeds during today's race.

These speeds are like if the Richard Petty Driving Experience cars decided to have a race.

On Sunday, I saw Austin Dillon walk down pit road to talk to Ty Gibbs after the race. By the time Dillon got there, Gibbs had already left his car. When Dillon didn't see Gibbs at his car, he did a 180 back up pit road. The contact between the No. 54 and No. 3 happened with 41 laps to go. After the checkered flag, Dillon said on the radio that the contact affected his car.

Justin Allgaier felt like he had a car that he could race anywhere on the racetrack, but was frustrated with getting clean air on the nose, yet that is when he would have the least amount of front grip.
