I completely understand that all candidates need to earn your vote. That being said, the puritan attitudes held by many is exhausting. "I can't vote for them because of their personal life." I get it that you can rationalize that you believe it's not a vote for the other side, but it certainly doesn't help the cause of your supposed preferred party. You lost the argument in the primary. I did. I accepted it and voted for the macro. If there are policy issues you disagree with, fine. I just roll my eyes at the holier than thou protest vote over personal life concerns. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't want my preacher to be a politician, and I don't expect my politicians to be preachers.
