The bottom line is that Aaron Judge tried to convince the Yankees he could play in the wildcard round less than 100% and they don’t think he’d help or it’s necessary in a 3-game series
They’re exactly right.
If you’re making the Judge play, you give him more games to get going. If he’s a black hole for even game 1 of a wildcard series, it could ruin everything
