The inhibitor exists because even after Smart Hulk, Bruce still doesn’t fully trust what happens when he loses control. The MCU keeps calling him a reliable Avenger because most of the time the device is on and he’s choosing to stay human. The second it’s off (or someone forces it off), Savage Hulk comes back and everyone around him pays for it. Brand New Day just made the contradiction impossible to ignore.

Am I the only one who genuinely feels bad for Tommy? 😭💔 Bro was one of the few genuinely good people in Carrie’s life. He stayed loyal to Sue, worked TWO jobs while still in high school, and only went to prom with Carrie because he wanted her to experience something good for once. He wasn’t trying to humiliate her, gain popularity, or play some cruel game. He was simply trying to do the right thing, and he ended up paying the ultimate price for something he had absolutely no part in. Honestly, Tommy and Miss Desjardin were the two characters I felt the worst for. They both tried to treat Carrie like a human being when almost everyone else failed her. That’s what makes Tommy’s fate so heartbreaking. He was one of the few people who deserved to make it out alive. 💔
