Aufwachen!

White Privilege Part 3: Dundee Docks In the 19th-20th centuries Dundee’s docks were the working heart of a city built on bulk trade and heavy industry. Ships arrived loaded with raw jute from India, coal from Scotland and north-east England, as well as Baltic timber, grain, flax and iron, while others left with cargoes of jute and engineering products. The port was unusually tightly bound to the city’s own mills and shipyards: much of what was unloaded went straight into local factories, and much of what was built or manufactured was exported from the same quays. No other British port of its size was so completely integrated with a single dominant local industry. Dundee’s shipbuilders constructed tough wooden, and later iron ships, for trade, fishing, whaling, and the exploration of polar waters. The most famous was the RRS Discovery, the first ship purpose-built for scientific research in the Antarctic, launched in 1901 from a Dundee yard and used by Captain Scott’s expedition. Surrounding the harbour were sawmills, timber yards, engineering works, foundries and related industries that depended on the same workforce and the same flow of materials. The labour was almost entirely male and brutally physical. Their work was heavy and relentless: manhandling jute bales of 350-400 lb, shifting timber baulks, coal and other bulk loads by hand or with basic tackle. Men worked in all weathers on open quays, in the holds of ships, and in the cold, damp warehouses, shifting loads with hooks, ropes and sheer strength. Accidents were common: falls into holds or the harbour, crushing injuries from shifting cargo, lacerations from hooks and ropes, and drownings were regularly reported in the local press. Many men suffered permanent disability from partially healed fractures, crushed limbs or hand injuries that never fully recovered. Hernias, chronic back and joint damage from repeated heavy lifting, and noise-related hearing loss were widespread. Exposure to cold, wet and wind, together with dust from coal, grain and jute, produced rheumatism, chronic bronchitis and other respiratory problems, while cuts and abrasions frequently became infected. The same physical toll was felt in the adjacent sawmills, where wood dust, circular saws and heavy timber handling caused additional lung damage, severed fingers and limbs, and further musculoskeletal strain. The men who worked the docks and yards were almost entirely casual labourers; hired by the day or the tide. Wages were low and unstable, among the poorest in Scotland, and periods of slack trade meant no work at all. Shifts were long and irregular, dictated by the arrival of ships rather than any fixed timetable. Many workers lived in poverty in the overcrowded tenements of the dockside, Hilltown, Overgate and Lochee districts (see White Privilege Part 1: Dundee Slums), and their families often depended on the combined earnings of dock labour, mill work and children’s half-time wages (see White Privilege Part 2: Dundee Jute Mills). The docks, like the mills, were a world of hard, poorly paid and frequently dangerous labour that shaped the daily lives of working-class Dundonians. 📷 RRS Discovery crew photograph (c. 1901–1904); Dundee Central Library / Leisure & Culture Dundee (Alexander Wilson Collection and related holdings, late 19th-early 20th century).

Over 60 Muslim men raped Scarlett West from the age of 14. None have been convicted. Her father stood as Restore Britain’s candidate for Greater Manchester mayor. There was no national outrage, no wave of arrests, and no accountability. Russell Brand, by contrast, is facing the full force of the justice system over an allegation involving touching a woman’s breast 15 years ago. If the evidence shows he is a predator, he should be punished. That is how a functioning system works. The same system has produced nothing for Scarlett. The men who systematically raped and trafficked her as a child remain free. This is not an isolated failure. It is a pattern in which certain offenders are pursued relentlessly while others walk amongst us. Where are the 60 Muslim men who raped a child? Disgraceful.

Russell Brand was accused of a rape in 1999 - he was not found guilty of this one But it was allegedly in 1999 at THE LABOUR PARTY CONFERENCE Are you telling me that 15 years later, when Andy Burnham and Ed Miliband are gushing over him - that they hadn't heard? 🧐

Listen to the state of this.... Below is a call recording between the police and me (listen from about 4 m) I want everyone to understand what state this country is in. Tower Hamlets Council lied to the police. Yet when I submitted a subject access request asking for the personal information it holds about me, it claimed to have no records mentioning me. This is a recording of my conversation with a police officer on 25 June, two days before our planned event in Tower Hamlets. Shortly afterwards, the police imposed conditions under section 14 of the Public Order Act. We risked arrest if we failed to comply. We chose Tower Hamlets to show that there are places in the UK that have become no-go areas for English women like me—places in our own country where we cannot speak freely in public. Listen to what the officer says. What you will hear is how our freedom to speak was made dependent on who we are and what those who disagree with us might do if we spoke in public. There should not be a public park in the UK where women cannot gather to speak about women's rights. I have chosen to publish the whole call so I cannot be accused of manufacturing something. It's is madness though. Basically the police are against us, the law abiding British people. We are a nuisance. But we can be controlled and pistol whipped by the state. The police are afraid of migrants, muslims and leftists.

The man who threatened to cut my throat, Madda Hussein, wasn't held after being found guilty and didn't turn up for sentencing yesterday. There's now a warrant out for his arrest.
SERIOUS UPDATE REGARDING DANNY TOMMO - Very concerning news from my dad has just come to light. His case for the incident where he went into the Dover Immigration Facility was due to be heard in Kent Magistrates tomorrow, this has now been moved to Westminster, less than 24 hours before the court hearing with one of the highest profile magistrate judges in the land overseeing the case. This causes a major safety risk for my father as he has been told he will not be returning to Winchester but will be held in Belmarsh My dad and my family have had numerous threats to life many of these are from people in that area of the country or people connected to Belmarsh prison itself and this unjustified legal manoeuvre has major implications and potential life threatening repercussions. I will update you as this situation progresses Thank you all Shae.

So let me get this straight... Blaming Muslims today for 9/11 is bigotry, but blaming white people today for slavery is somehow justice? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR DAMN MIND? You don’t get to condemn collective guilt for one group and celebrate it for another. THAT’S NOT JUSTICE. THAT’S HYPOCRISY ON STEROIDS
