A lot of the @Yankees should be ashamed of their play in the post season. They are lucky they don't have to deal with George Steinbrenner.

Simple formula. Blue chip IP+low friction+next gen of 100+ year legacy+scarcity. This is the formula. Hope this helps.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

All this fighting between NFT projects is exhausting. I've done basically all of them. DraftKings. Top Shot. Disney pins. Hello Kitty. Digital comics. OpenSea. You name it, I've probably collected it. I wanted every one of them to work. I still own them. I'm still rooting for them. But if I'm being honest, the only one that has actually made me money is Panini. At this point probably 10-25x depending on the day. Without Panini I'd be down 99% across everything digital, easy. I think some of the dislike toward Panini comes from exactly that. It did well while others didn't, so far. And sure, maybe it's not the "purest" project by whatever standard people want to apply. But the thesis was always simple: it's the closest thing to collectibles that already exist. Real sets, real serial numbers, real scarcity, same logic as the sports card people have collected for 100 years. That's what it is and that's why it worked. And honestly collectibles can have wildly different timescale horizons. Not saying one project is better than another. Not saying PBC will keep winning and others won't, indefinitely. I hope they all run. But for me, right now, Panini is the breadwinner and the rest are hopes. That's not a take, it's just my bookkeeping. Collect what you like and let people do the same. #digitalcollectibles #thehobby #paniniblockchain

The guy he’s referring to has a portfolio that’s up 50 X. This is an example of some of Steve’s buys. You decide. Oladipo buy is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Attaching the screenshot because this is the kind of take that gets deleted. If you take blockchain or digital collectibles advice from this guy, you now understand less than you did before you opened the app.

I don't focus on ROI much in my content, but it has been a nice benefit of collecting on Panini Blockchain. @dalaei made 5X on the Curry 2/2 Green Prizm Debut that he sold today to @spinotron in less than two years. When @dalaei originally bought it from @ahueh, Ahueh made roughly the same 5X return after holding for less than three years. What's funny is that when I saw the purchase price today, I thought to myself, "That's an easy 5X for Spino in a few years." In a way, this Curry Green Debut is a microcosm of the entire PBC market.
An interlude to my Exquisite physical discourse. Some goal is impossible but one tries anyway. Prizm debut green /2 and red /3 on #PaniniBlockchain are very first BC native packpulls. Impossible to complete set of /2 or /3. So I set out to complete 2024 Team US subset. I tried to do as many in Prizm green 2/2 as possible (5 of them), if not then just green (8 of them), if not special numbered red /3 (subset complete). All green would be sick. But I’m not greedy and will enjoy the landing of @StephenCurry30 Prizm Debut Green Ice 2/2 just now which finished this milestone and had been the last missing piece for a long time. Thank you to ADL for the assist. I onboarded ADL to PBC using LeBron Kaboom S1 gold and Ant Debut 2/2, now they reside in Billo and Jared’s collections, and didn’t expect ADL return the favor with Curry Debut 2/2. LOL. Full circle moment. They say Green Curry tastes the best. True da. #whodoyoucollect #sportscard

Well thought out. Fact based. Based.
If anyone is following or listening to Card Aficionado in the digital collectible space, I urge you to run far and fast. The guy is a serial hater. His entire existence revolves around hating Panini, selling the absolute bottom and spending the next several years in shame and regret. He then buys into other digital projects at the absolute worst times and is holding bag after bag that has lost at a minimum 80% of its original value. He will go down as the “Marty Mush” of digital collectibles and will eventually be Panini’s words trader of all time. He created a website/blog site to air his hatred and filth and will post 24/7 to unsuspecting people. If you’re following him, or engage with him because his comments seem unbiased, run. Let him build digital frames for your moments or collectibles, but if you’re actually listening to a single thing he says, you’re going to lose money. Thats his end goal. He doesn’t want to be the biggest loser, he wants you along the ride with him. He has “at-leaster mentality.” He will say “at least I’m not the only one who lost” at the expense of anyone who may actually take his garbage and agree or act on it. He was asked to leave two communities already, time to take out the trash for good.

Everyone's chasing Prizm. Nobody's looking at what came before it. Genesis-era @PaniniAmerica blockchain drops — Flawless, Immaculate, Impeccable — were built on the same scarcity logic as the physical premium lines. Not "rare-ish." Actually rare. Look at the grid: 🟢 Giannis Flawless — 2/3 🔵 Kareem Illustrious — 1/1 🔵 Jalen Hurts Flawless RC — 1/1 🟢 Joe Burrow Flawless RC — 2/2 🟣 Lamar Jackson Flawless Nike swoosh — 1/2 🔴 Mahomes Honored Ink — 1/5 🔷 Ichiro Immaculate — 1/5 🔷 Barry Sanders First Ballot — 1/10 ⚪ LeBron Flawless patch — 4/10 Nine cards. Combined population under 40. Prizm gets the volume, the liquidity, the attention — and the print runs to match. Genesis premium has the opposite profile: tiny pops, no float, and pricing that hasn't caught up because the eyeballs went elsewhere. Rarity that predates the hype cycle usually gets repriced after it. 🧾 #PaniniBlockchain #TheHobby

/10 is the sweet spot. Rare enough that the other 9 owners aren't selling. Attainable enough that you can actually build a run. Base numbers get printed forever. 1/1s never trade. But a /10? That's a club — and the members have diamond hands. PBC 📈when BTC 📉and 📈. #paniniblockchain
