It was gas prices.
It was the war.
It was also the corruption.

The impression of cruelty.

This election is already seismic.
In exit polls, voters are ranking CORRUPTION as their top issue.
That’s never happened since polling began in the 1930s.
“Here at $IONQ, we don’t need dilution refrigerators; rather, we have other means of producing dilution.” 😂
Most quantum computers only work at -273°C. IonQ's core doesn't need the fridge.
Superconducting machines live inside giant dilution refrigerators, chilled to a hair above absolute zero — colder than deep space. The chandelier of gold wiring you've seen in photos? That's mostly plumbing to fight heat.
IonQ's trapped ions hold their quantum state at room temperature. The atoms are held still by electromagnetic fields in a vacuum, not by brute-force cold.
Less cryogenics means a smaller footprint, lower operating overhead, and a machine that's far easier to drop into a normal data center.
Why it matters for $IONQ: that's the quiet advantage behind a commercial system like Superion — deployability. It's hard to sell a computer that needs its own cryoplant. Much easier to sell one that doesn't.
The breakthrough isn't a colder fridge. It's not needing one.

Instead of getting a little sticker after you voted, you should get a QR code that you could somehow enter into your TV and it would no longer display political ads.
A very happy reminder: $IONQ DIDN’T take the government’s money in exchange for giving up an ownership stake.
As mad as I’ve been about the Heights deal, I’ll take that deal a million times before I take a government ownership stake.
BREAKING: Intel stock, $INTC, crashes over -22% after reporting weaker than expected earnings.
Intel blamed weak earnings on "softness in the PC market."
This feels especially promising.

I’ve been buying $ENRD directly. It probably has a few years, but I think that it ultimately will be a steal. $IONQ
picture einride running 500 autonomous trucks across the country. every truck has a deadline, a battery to charge, roads it can't always use, and remote operators who can't be everywhere at once. then a storm hits and half the schedule goes to hell. einride is already patenting ways to handle some of these problems, and they've worked with ionq on freight optimization. there's a monster of an engineering opportunity here. give ionq the entire fleet: truck locations, delivery deadlines, battery levels, charging stations, road restrictions, and available remote operators. build an optimization engine that decides where each truck goes, when it leaves, and where it charges. then throw a storm at it. close a highway. knock out a charging station. how quickly can it rebuild the plan? put the best classical software through the same test. the prize is getting more deliveries completed with the same 500 trucks, fewer miles driven empty, less time wasted waiting for chargers, and fewer missed deadlines. if ionq can do that better and cheaper than the alternatives, einride has a way to make every truck more productive without buying another one.
Awesome! 239 more of these contracts and the revenue equals what we paid for Elisity! $IONQ
We've received $7.5 million in follow-on funding from the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), reflecting the strength of our partnership and the value of our full-stack approach.
The Phase 2 contract with AFRL expands upon the first-generation quantum network we previously delivered in Rome, New York, adding advanced optical, hardware, and software layers for real-world deployment.
“We are building quantum networking that runs on standard telecom infrastructure and through open air, and proving it on a live network,” said @jordan_shapiro, IonQ President, Quantum Platform.

"Russia, frankly, has been fine on Ukraine. They haven't been doing much."
- President Trump, earlier today
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children.
I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.
$IONQ fam, how do we feel about Joe’s theory here?
$ionq heights is dumping all of their shares right now 50 million shares have got to be dumped onto the market probably by the end of this week starting from when they did the deal and they’re willing to take a loss because they want the warrants they want a long day call options. They don’t want anything else and they’re willing to get out of the stock as quick as they can and get their money back as quick as they can and take the loss in the long run. They think they’re gonna be a winner a big winner but right now they’re willing to take a loss.

“The American president cannot understand why Zelensky and his people do not simply accept their situation and lie down under Russia’s tank treads.”
Humiliating and dangerous: Trump has now finally just made America an ally of the Kremlin and is aiding Putin in his war against an American friend and partner. Shameful betrayal of a US friend, and pathetic submission to a US enemy.
