Thanks to all for making consecutive game 3K a night to remember. To have my family on hand made it special. My @ATLHawks family is amazing. ❤️
Here we go! First game of the 26-27 season. Year 42 for me with the @ATLHawks Consecutive game number 3,172. Thank you.
Can’t wait. A great honor.

I’m just past 24 years old.
Bijan Robinson is making a legit case for the NFL's best Running Back. Scary thing is for the rest of the league; he's STILL just 24 years old.
The Atlanta Hawks also have a 24-year-old Superstar in Jalen Johnson. For the last FIVE years both Atlanta franchises have yet to advance in the postseason ONE single round. After talking with Georgia Sports Hall of Famer @RealVoiceofHawk we may be having a very different conversation VERY soon

Thanks for in the invite David.
No team had more success vs the Knicks in the 2026 NBA Playoffs then the Atlanta Hawks. 24-year-old Jalen Johnson was a top 15 player last year. Legendary Play-by-Play Announcer @RealVoiceofHawk breaks down why Johnson will be even scarier this season
"He's made so many steps SINCE that last playoff series. He's very comfortable this year being the face of the team and his leadership is going to blossom"

We lost Jeff Van Note this week. Welcomed me as a young broadcaster in 1980. One of the greatest @AtlantaFalcons ever. RIP #57 🙏
One of the nicest guys as well.
Now joins Sweet Lou in Hawks heaven.
We join the basketball community in remembering the incredible legacy of Bob Pettit, who played for our franchise his entire career, from 1954 through 1965. As the first player in NBA history to win the league’s Most Valuable Player Award and enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1971, he set a standard of excellence that continues to inspire generations of players and fans. His relentless work ethic, competitive spirit, and commitment to the game helped shape the identity of our franchise. Beyond his accolades - including 11 All-Star selections and leading the Hawks to the 1958 NBA Championship - Bob was a true ambassador for the sport and a role model for countless fans. We are grateful for his contributions to our franchise and to basketball history. His retired No. 9 jersey continues to hang proudly at State Farm Arena as a lasting reminder of the impact he made on our organization. We extend our deepest condolences to Bob’s family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time. We also join those across the basketball world in celebrating a remarkable life and legacy that will never be forgotten.
Best wishes to @jeffdantzlertv on the start of his @GeorgiaFootball PBP broadcasting journey. #GoDawgs.
What CJ said.
This is incorrect.
National I’d agree. Local broadcast for baseball is different. It works there. Much more intimate with at least 144 games a year on local TV and all 162 on radio. A point was made that first names blur the lines of neutrality. If you’re a neutral local broadcaster you’re a bad one.
I do admire the balls to drop a note to MLB broadcasters. However ill informed it was.
May we all be blessed enough to have tributes like the ones @DollyParton is receiving today. 🙏🙏🙏
This was fun.

More awful news today with the passing of Bob Horner. What a great guy. Got to spend time with him at the @GAsportsHOF when we were inducted in the class of 2022
Congrats 🎉🍾 Bob !
Proud of this one! Thanks @ATLHawks for letting me do my thing and to my teammates for letting me shine! Congrats to all for a great night last night! @SoutheastEMMY
