30-year-old Jesús de Miguel of CD Tenerife has tragically passed away following a horrific collision with the FC Andorra goalkeeper during yesterday’s match.
One moment on the pitch, and a life is lost.
No match, trophy or rivalry is worth a human life.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, teammates, friends and everyone at CD Tenerife.

My nail tech just cancelled an appointment I booked over a week ago, and her reason is quite funny.
She texted me this morning saying she couldn’t do my nails today because it’s her daughter’s birthday.
I completely understand wanting to spend your child’s birthday with them, but ma’am???
Did your daughter just turn up in your life overnight? Did you not know her birthday was coming when you accepted my booking?
I’m all for putting family first, but surely you knew the date before I did. 🤦🏻♀️

I understand that feminism stands for pushing for equality and all, but we can never take away the fact that women deserve to be pampered.
I don’t agree with the choice of words, but I’ve been in similar situations where the men were gentlemen enough to offer me a seat while they stood.

O pai da minha filha trabalha embarcado na Petrobras, então sempre fui sozinha aos eventos escolares dela. Sou jovem, bonita e estava sempre sozinha, por isso algumas mães já presumissem que eu era mãe solteira. Nunca faziam questão de se aproximar, sempre com aqueles olhares. Quando perguntavam sobre o pai e eu explicava, o tratamento mudava.
Uma vez, até uma professora me parabenizou por criar minha filha sozinha. Expliquei que não era o caso, e ela pediu desculpas, dizendo que outras mães haviam comentado isso.
Fico impressionada com pessoas que se dizem conservadoras, defensoras da família e dos bons costumes, mas vivem julgando a vida dos outros. Antes de conhecerem minha história, já tinham decidido quem eu era.
Hoje fui num jantar e revivi uma situação horrível que vivi muitas vezes. Meu marido é piloto e vive viajando. Quando ia sozinha com meus filhos aos aniversários da escola, as mulheres não faziam questão da minha presença. Nunca tinha lugar à mesa. Sempre chamei atenção por estar bronzeada, com marquinha de biquíni, e andar bem arrumada, isso incomodava com certeza!
É revoltante que ainda existam mulheres que enxerguem outra mulher como uma ameaça simplesmente por ela estar sem o marido ao lado. Nunca dei liberdade a homem nenhum, muito menos aos maridos de outras mulheres.
Em pleno 2026, ainda precisamos lidar com essa rivalidade feminina. Nenhuma mulher deveria precisar estar acompanhada do marido para ser respeitada.
E aqui estou, sem conseguir dormir, por me sentir mais uma vez excluída.
