Then use two rules: 1Fill in a follow-up date the same day you send. Pick 7-10 days out. 2Follow up with something new: fresh film, a stat line, or your next game. Never just "checking in." Sort by follow-up date every Monday.

Color the Replied? column: Green: coach replied
Yellow: waiting
Red: no reply after two follow-ups Red means move on. Put your time where coaches answer.

Love this post. Every coach alters the trajectory of a player. Great post @LiannaLopez2028
I have been so lucky through the years to have many coaches who dedicated countless hours into making me both the athlete and the person I am today. Thank you for encouraging me, believing in me, and guiding me towards excellence - always. Your support in the game and throughout my life has made an impact that will be with me forever! 🫶🏼 #nationalcoachesday @ca_girlsbball @AllOhioGirls #CAgirlssoccer #columbusacademy

Make your film one tap away. Put the link in your X bio, your email signature, and the first line of every message to a coach. If a coach has to hunt for your film, you're asking them to do your job.

Recruiting isn't a secret. It's scattered. Who to email, what to send, when, what to say, how to read a coach's reply. I learned it getting my daughter to her first-choice school. I put it in guides that cost a few coffees, not thousands. Link in profile.

Dear AAU Parents, Please take a little advice from a parent who has been around AAU basketball as a Coach & parent for 20+ years. Stop chasing imaginary rankings from paid services like PGH and cool social media posts from programs that over hype players on socials because that is all they can offer. Don't get caught up with trainers who are only worried about your children when they are in their gym. Ask real questions of program directors about approach on player development, college relationships and track record of getting players to college programs. Ask directors about recruiting plans for their players. Pay attention to programs that retain players and are not out recruiting over entire rosters year over year. Track record & trust between families & programs matters; especially in a rapidly changing recruiting landscape, you better be with a program that is committed to all their players and not just a few high profile girls. The top of EVERY circuit has really good players/teams but the bottom of EVERY circuit has bad teams too. Being on an EYBL or 3SSB team, and playing 6-8 mpg can really hurt your recruitment. Not every program is a fit for every player/family but PLEASE do your homework!! Have honest discussions about potential level of play in college and where your child might fit. Be very weary of anyone who only talks about D1. Winning games in AAU is nice and hopefully your daughter is competitive and wants to win but it ultimately doesn't mean anything and not many college coaches are paying attention to the score unless one team is getting smoked. In fact, a coach might pay more attention to how your daughter is acting as a player when they are losing vs how they are playing in a 25pt win. Good luck to all as the girls get prepared for the High School season. @nj_panthers @CoachJordanNJP @unitedNJaau @ShoreshotsGirls @newjerseyrise @ESBC_BlueFlames @NJLadiesHoops @TinyGreenNBS @coachschoiceusa

A coach with a full inbox isn't looking for the best story. They're looking for class year, position, height, GPA, a film link, and one real reason you picked their school. Make the yes easy.

Over the last 2 weeks I’ve heard from 3 players from 2027 who have gotten meaningful results based on our “No Offers Yet Senior Guide.” Absolutely makes me so happy to hear. Solid advice and meaningful results don’t have to cost a lot. Keep the DM’s coming on your progress 😁

3. "I have no offers. Am I behind?" Not necessarily. As of Oct. 2, only 8 of ESPN's 21 five-stars in the 2027 class had committed. The D1 regular signing period doesn't open until April 14.

If you're a 2027 senior still waiting, the guide lays out the full timeline and a system for catching late openings, plus email templates. Thank you to everyone who's reached out. Keep the questions coming. 🏀 recruitedher.gumroad.com/l/v…
