On day two of the REG Conference the focus turned to education and training within the maritime sector.
During the Capacity Building Working Group there was consideration of potential new training initiatives and identifying the gaps as new technologies develop.
Wendy Benjamin, Education Consultant in St. Helena said:
“The aim of the Capacity Building Working Group is to motivate, encourage and inspire young people to pursue a career in maritime while giving them the pathways and support to achieving their goals.”
