This club is legit fucking mental 😂.
Howe needs buying out of his Newcastle contract so they're probably pushing for Nagelsmann but while they do that they'll keep Carrick in the job because there's no guarantee he will accept the job.
As things stands, would anticipate Michael Carrick taking training at Carrington tomorrow.

FWIW this does not get better. How do you expect players to have belief in the next coach when the people appointing him clearly don’t 100% believe it’s the right choice. A large part of leadership is perception. Better a fast decision than no decision.

Very, very proud to have welcomed on Owen Hargreaves in today’s video.
The Champions League-winning midfielder spoke about Michael Carrick’s situation, United’s early season issues and the on-field fixes available.
Any help spreading the word would be immensely appreciated 🫡🇾🇪

I wrote my first, and I promise my last, Substack.
21 years away from Old Trafford. One weekend back. Plenty to get off my chest.

That works out at an average of 142 million per season
Almost the exact same amount that they have spent this summer too
Have they spent it wisely? No
Will chelsea, city and liverpool get called out for their high spends? Also no

It's pretty obvious what happened. They did their homework with a lot of players' agents early in the window to understand what it would take to sign each one of them. But then the likes of Spurs came in and blew up the market by paying insane amounts of transfer fees. So, these guys decided that saving money and accruing the good PR that comes with it was more important than actually strengthening the squad. Kind of spineless shit that a rookie management does lol.
So if I purchase a DVD and digitize it, that’s copyright infringement. But if an AI company buys my book and scans it to train their system, that’s perfectly fine? Once again, corporations are allowed to play by their own rules. I’m so sick of the hypocrisy.

I hate how aggressive algorithms have become. You like one post and your entire timeline is flooded with similar posts in seconds, it’s so easy to build yourself an echo chamber.

With United’s transfer business ramping up and Karl Darlow apparently an impending new arrival, I grabbed a few minutes with Eric Steele to discuss the move.
Eric knows Karl well, dating back to their time together at Aston Villa, and his verdict is simple: “He’s a perfect fit.”

The ever genial @mjcritchley kindly spared some time to chat… you guessed it, United and the transfer market.
As well as alternative targets, the notion of shunning the inflated PL market was discussed. Time to mine cut-price gems, or best to let them develop elsewhere first?
