We need a national shut down in Ireland too. It's possible if public sector unions went out and we had people in dozens of private sector workplaces who could put in wage claims or grievances at the same time. It's gonna take work to get to that point. But it needs to be done!

Newspapers say "sources" tell them pay offer is starting at 4%! That is insult to nurses, firefighters, street cleaners and all public sector workers! Oct 21st pickets should have gone ahead and we need to be ready to strike again if our union leaders come back with bad deal!
