I miss these days/dudes.

1 week from right now i’ll be in the Reilly Center for the Bonnies season opener. Easily one of the best days of the year. 🐺

Ryan Heath has had a larger role than I expected. Coach Mac trusts him and he’s played well thus far. Some guys are just competitors that find ways to get/stay on the court. Credit to him for earning minutes.

Good to see Diallo, Ikpotokin, and Lonati contribute today after not playing vs Penn State. They combined for 17 points/15 rebounds. Lonati also had a game high 5 assists. 🐺

Not saying this based off today, but I think Taj Au Duke will sneakily be our best pickup of the offseason. JUCO All American who has all the attributes you want in a PG. Similar player as Bowen, but a little better overall. 🐺

It’s now or never for Joe Grahovac. Let’s ball, 32.

Welp. 😔

I liked what I saw from Mason Blackwood on Saturday. He was aggressive and looked comfortable vs his former school. He should be able to create mismatches with his combination of physicality and ability to play on the perimeter. Early favorite to lead the Bonnies in scoring.

👀 @ZPhilipkoski

No definitive conclusions can be made from Saturday’s game. I think i left with more questions than answers. The first half was an A+, the 2nd half was a C-. It was fun to get a peek of the team vs Big 10 comp. The games start to count in 2 weeks! 🐺

Fuel. 🐺

I’m glad today’s game was an exhibition. If it was the regular season, I would’ve been pulling my hair out in the 2nd half. A lot of whistles, missed free throws, and empty possessions. Luckily, it’s October and this team will improve as leaders emerge and roles get established.

Starting lineup prediction: PG Ermakov SG Philipkoski SF Blackwood PF Grahovac C Bill 🐺

The exhibition vs Penn State will be more about the eye test than the actual result. I’m interested to see which newcomers look like they belong and which returning players have improved. The pace of the offense will also be something to watch. Bonnies season is here! 🐺
