When you see a blue checkmark posting utter nonsense, there’s a 98.73465% (it’s science) chance they’re just trying to farm angry replies because that’s how they get paid.
Scroll past it. Or better yet, mute them. Don’t take the bait!

Drove all the way to my local polling place and there was literally nowhere on my ballot to vote against a 24 team College Football Playoff and a 76 team NCAA Basketball Tournament. Had to write it all in

The McLane Paradox (noun):
A mysterious phenomenon at Baylor football games where the louder we cheer, the bigger the crowd, and the more emotionally invested we get, the worse the Bears play.
The formula:
↑ Fan Enthusiasm = ↓ Baylor Performance
Science can’t explain it. Baylor fans live it.

BNT's Morning After Thoughts — TCU Edition 🤔:
This is kinda long, but maybe worth reading.
I've been a Baylor fan for decades. I've witnessed some painful losses. But watching a 2-3 TCU team come into McLane Stadium, hold us without a touchdown, and the team celebrate with its fans on our berm ranks right up there at the top. And what concerns me most isn't just that we lost. It's how we lost.
I've had a night to sleep on it, and frankly, I feel worse about this loss this morning than I did last night. This one deserves some hard truths.
🤔 The Revivalry has become embarrassingly one-sided.
TCU came into McLane Stadium with a 2-3 record and walked out with a 17-6 victory. Dave Aranda is now 1-6 against our biggest rival. ONE AND SIX.
At some point, this stops being about one bad game and becomes a serious question about the direction and leadership of the program.
Rivalries are supposed to mean something. This one certainly means something to TCU. I'd like to see the same urgency from Baylor.
🤔 Six points. At home. Against TCU.
Not a single touchdown. We managed 54 rushing yards, converted just 6 of 21 third downs, and couldn't establish any offensive rhythm. That's not simply disappointing. It's unacceptable. And while the players must execute, it's the coaching staff's responsibility to put them in a position to succeed.
Where were the adjustments?
🤔 The quarterback situation needs an honest evaluation.
DJ Lagway finished 22 of 53 for 256 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception. That's a 41.5% completion rate. He struggled. There's no sugarcoating it. But my bigger question is directed at the coaching staff: Why wasn't Nate Bennett given an opportunity in the second half? When your offense is producing virtually nothing, why not try something different?
Leaving everything unchanged while the game slips away isn't a strategy. It's a decision. And that decision deserves scrutiny.
🤔 Our defense deserved better.
Holding TCU to 33 rushing yards and recording four sacks should have been enough to give Baylor a legitimate opportunity to win. The defense competed and gave us opportunities. You shouldn't have to pitch a shutout to win a football game at home.
🤔 Watching TCU celebrate at McLane was infuriating.
Watching TCU players jump onto and over the berm wall to celebrate with their students, in our stadium, was a bitter sight. Personally, I thought it was disrespectful. Others may call it celebrating a rivalry victory.
But here's the uncomfortable truth: They earned the right to celebrate because we failed to stop them. And that bothers me more than the celebration itself.
Our biggest rival came into our house, beat us, and celebrated with its fans while we were left wondering what happened.
That should bother everyone associated with Baylor football.
🤔 Accountability starts at the top.
I've supported Coach Aranda and genuinely wanted him to succeed. But a 1-6 record against TCU is impossible to ignore.
Rivalry games matter. Protecting your home field matters. Preparing your team matters. Recognizing when something isn't working and making adjustments matters.
This isn't about questioning anyone's character or effort. It's about results. At some point, the people responsible for leading this program must be held accountable for those results.
Baylor fans deserve better than what we witnessed last night.
🤔 Where do we go from here?
This team had momentum. Four consecutive victories. A big win at Arizona State. Reasons to believe we were turning a corner. And then this. I'm not interested in excuses. I'm interested in answers, adjustments, and results.
I love Baylor. I support these young men. And I want this program to succeed. But supporting Baylor doesn't require pretending everything is fine when it clearly isn't.
Sometimes loyalty means saying things that aren't particularly pleasant. Baylor football should be better than this. Period.
My loyalty to Baylor isn't measured by how loudly I cheer when we win. It's also measured by how much I care when we fall short of what this program should be.
🤔 Thoughts, Baylor Family?
xoxo,
BNT

Our enemy dons many masks and seeks to infiltrate through numerous doors. There is one historic gospel, one historic mission of the church. Counterfeits are endless.
Thank you, Erick, for this helpful piece.
A group of white guys have subtly inserted themselves into conservative institutions and church organizations. They all embrace racial grievances. To varying degrees, they embrace white nationalism, antisemitism, and even Nazi sympathies. They are getting added to conservative institutional boards, attempting to purge churches, and are desperate to indoctrinate young conservatives into fascist ideology. They even surround the Vice President of the United States. Some of them believe the United States is at a tipping point, and they want to push it over the edge and rebuild it in their image. You might think it does not affect you, but, in time, you will see their efforts in your church pews, in your kids’ brains, and in your politicians’ mouths. It begins with shampoo.
