Wouldn’t it be nice if there was at least one actually pure website? One without the usual gotchas.
No asking for your email. No parts paywalled. No ads. No data collection.
I think so, which is why I created teddyrookbook.com
Homeschool families get every K–12 course free (with teaching guides and practice that checks answers), plus a lesson planner that builds a week-by-week plan. Science labs. Languages. Music. Etiquette. Logic. Meal planning. Trades and farming. And much more!
I’m building this for my family to use and sharing with others because I’m open to feedback on how it can be better.

Governors Action Alliance (GovAct):
Founded/led by Julia Spiegel
Julia Spiegel:
• Former legal counsel and senior advisor to California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
• Helped launch the Reproductive Freedom Alliance after Dobbs.
• Previously worked as a senior advisor to Power when Power was U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.
GovAct acts as a centralized platform that incubates and supports governor alliances.
Governors Safeguarding Democracy (GSD):

• Modeled on the earlier Reproductive Freedom Alliance.

• Reproductive Freedom Alliance (launched 2023 by Newsom
• Governors Public Health Alliance (launched October 2025; mostly Democratic governors
• Staff and related personnel have backgrounds at places like the Newsom administration, Common Cause, Demos, New York AG’s Civil Rights Bureau, and similar progressive legal/policy shops.
• GovAct received a $500,000 grant in September 2024 from Pierre Omidyar’s Democracy Fund, explicitly for coordinating governors’ work on “specific threats to American democracy” and “state and local accountability.”
**Governors Safeguarding Democracy is fully backed and staffed through the Governors Action Alliance (GovAct), the umbrella group founded and led by Julia Spiegel (former legal counsel to California Gov. Gavin Newsom). GovAct handles the operational side, legal strategy, and coordination.
One of their playbooks (Obtained by Government Accountability and Oversight and reported on by The Daily Signal): “Firewalling for Freedom – Template Gubernatorial Executive Order” or “Firewall for Freedom.”
It includes:
• Model executive orders for governors to issue.
• Emails from GovAct staff (including CEO Julia Spiegel and special assistant Emma Clough).
• Talking points.
• Briefing invitations and white papers.
• FAQs for governors’ offices
• Emails show briefings scheduled for governors’ staff on executive actions to protect sensitive data and prepare for National Guard issues.
• One January 2025 briefing featured Norm Eisen (State Democracy Defenders Fund) on “Day 1 EOs.”
• Internal FAQs listed priority areas including “Preparing to mitigate the impacts of mass deportation and related operations.”
**Allegra Chapman:
• Managing Director of Governors Safeguarding Democracy (also described in some reporting as policy director on democracy for GovAct).
• Director of voting and education at Common Cause.
• Assistant Attorney General, Civil Rights Bureau, New York State Attorney General’s Office (under Eric Schneiderman; handled racial and sex discrimination cases).
• Staff counsel / voting rights litigator at Demos.
• Later ran her own consultancy (AAC Consulting) advising civil rights and democracy-reform groups.
• Board chair of 100% Democracy Initiative; board member of Verified Voting Foundation.

Governor Newsom on 17 October: "The whole - the system's broken. It's completely unbalanced. And you can't - we can't manage the decline. We have to completely reimagine."
Then within the files, I see very similar language: "The system is broken — and it cannot fix itself."
Does that mean the specific ex-USAID workers we've been tracking are controlling Newsom? No. But as you've seen throughout these files, every individual in the ecosystem belongs to multiple NGOs and alliances. They network constantly. They attend each other's conferences. They form coalitions on similar projects. They give each other feedback. That's how they develop a hive mind.
The proposed methods may differ from group to group, but they are all converging on one goal: America governance must be rewritten from top down, and soon.

Leaked audio: A network plotting to "delegitimize" the federal government names Pritzker as a co-conspirator.

Milton Friedman, Nobel Prize-winning economist, once went through the major U.S. government departments and said which ones should stay and which should go:
• Department of Agriculture: Abolish
• Department of Commerce: Abolish
• Department of Defense: Keep
• Department of Education: Abolish
• Department of Energy: Abolish (move the nuclear/military piece under Defense)
• Department of Health and Human Services: Cut in half (limited public health role only)
• Department of Housing and Urban Development: Abolish
• Department of the Interior: Sell off most government land, and abolish
• Department of Justice: Keep
• Department of Labor: Abolish
• Department of State: Keep
• Department of Transportation: Abolish
• Department of Treasury: Keep (to collect taxes)
• Department of Veterans Affairs: Pay veterans off, and abolish
Result: roughly 14 departments down to about 4–5.
Government’s real jobs, he said: defend the country, keep the peace, and protect people from being coerced by others. Everything else is outside its proper role.

🚨🚨THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 10: THE ROLE OF FOREIGN STATES🚨
(First post deleted for typo)
How is an old government declared illegitimate and a new government declared the true successor?
Months before the actual transition, the following are achieved in advance:
• Civil society and activists get prepared for big uprisings.
• Media narratives are pre-seeded.
• Foreign officials provide cover.
The last point is what this drop is all about. You saw it last night - as soon as Lula "won" the election, EU officials and Alex Soros immediately swept in with their congratulations. That is a deliberate strategy to grant Lula legitimacy, not an organic congratulations.
The idea is to saturate the people with the idea that "this is the legitimate government, and you will accept it."
In these files, we see the various NGOs strategize on how to reach out to governments in advance and prepare them for what is coming. We also revisit how USAID OTI, the regime change arm of USAID, allegedly re-organized themselves inside the country.
We record one meeting taking place between Horizons Project and Catalonia officials. That we were able to document a meeting at all is unusual, because I'm told that these meetings are generally arranged at the highest levels and kept off the record (think Jake Sullivan, Norm Eisen level).

Raped for days by more than 20 Pakistani immigrants.
Tortured—one had her tongue nailed to the wall to keep her still while they raped her.
The police ridiculed, insulted, and ignored them.
The feminists turned the other way.
If it hadn't been for Elon Musk, who publicly shared the trial testimonies, sparking outrage from Reform UK and internal investigations, no one would have known anything.
You're not angry enough.

This is absolutely fascinating and tracks with exactly what I’ve been following in Minnesota.
The thing that has been biggest to me are the language swaps. The DSA council will do this suddenly and abruptly. All at once… this explains that.
I also have obtained emails in city hall that have council members “blind cc-ing” whole networks of activists on what would seem to be a procedural email to staff and other electeds.
I’m sure the particular council member who did it REPEATEDLY likely thought his actions would mean the addition discourse and “heads up” to the networks would be hidden in a data drop.
Sorry… this little mouse still got past the waymo.
… more to come.
It’s a big week.
