Kenny Willekes is having his football jersey retired tonight by his alma mater GR NorthPointe Christian High School. Willekes, who went to MSU, is now on the Minnesota Vikings. I remember him as a JV basketball player. He was a wild man. Couldn't score, but he was scrappy.

Be the person who helps people reach their goals and dreams while chasing yours!! You don’t have to step on people to get where you’re going. You can elevate others by walking along side of them and encouraging them on their journey. You got this. You can do this. You are strong.

Mistakes players make:
1) Work on too many things instead of locking in & mastering a few things. Depth > Width
2) Waste time working on moves they’ll never use or clown drills that don’t translate
3) Don’t have a purposeful plan. Randomly work on stuff & hope they get results

“If you are truly a great leader you go to bed at night thinking about how to get the most out of that person next to you.
It may be as easy as sending a text message — have you ever got one that says — ‘I believe in you’ - that’s powerful.”
