Jeffries is the wrong person to be Speaker of the House. The landslide is not only about inflation. He ignores the nationwide fury of voters at Trump for corruption, criminality, tariffs, abuse of immigrants, starting & losing a war with Iran, and appointing thugs like Hegseth, Noem and Blanche.
Jeffries swore an oath to uphold the constitution. That includes stopping crimes that are IN PROGRESS by Trump like selling pardons, phony prosecutions of his enemies and the Epstein files cover-up. The economy and Trump‘s criminality can both be tackled by the House at the same time if we have a Speaker with backbone.
The Republicans doing their election postmortems are more realistic than the comments from Jeffries. Just stick to being a rep and we’ll get someone dynamic to be Speaker.
