It's so important for people to engage in this process, the original standard was very far off the mark in terms of testing for the correct cause of the damage to defective concrete and offering solutions to fix homes. There are still issues in this verse on that need addressed.

A second, fully revised edition of I.S. 465 has been developed and the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) has launched a public consultation.
I.S. 465 is "Assessment, testing and classification of damaged buildings containing concrete blocks containing harmful substances."
