Oh my goodness, I was not expecting that last sentence.
The bloodbath is over. Brewers 10, Rays 1. So is the series. Brewers lead the World Series 3 games to 0. The Brewers can join the '76 Big Red Machine by sweeping the NLCS and the World Series with a victory Tuesday.

Listen. If rooting for the Big Red Machine felt like what I assume rooting for the 2026 Brewers feels like right now, I fully understand it irreparably breaking our ownership & fanbase’s brains for the past 50 years. I get it now.

The man does not miss.
Replying to @gbpack82 @JLucroy20
Brewers far better. Advantaged in every way.

The streets are asking if the Brewers would have won 120 games in the 2026 American League.

Oh no, this was supposed to be a joke.

My now wife was not a sports fan when we met a few years ago. Instead of doing the easy thing & choosing to be a Reds & Bengals fan, she sat down and really weighed which teams’ colors & overall “vibes” she liked the best… She chose the Milwaukee Brewers & Seattle Seahawks.

…we gonna get a position player pitching in the World Series?

Man oh man… I can’t lie, it’s quite the experience watching the Brewers do Brewers Things™️ to opposing teams on the biggest stages.

Listen man, I like a lot of the Rays fans on here and I understand that it’s a Monday night and everything… …but it is downright embarrassing how overrun the Trop is with Brewers fans tonight.

I’m not breaking any news here or saying anything that no one else hasn’t said already, but John Smoltz is a net negative to the sport of baseball for as long as he stays in their #1 broadcast booth.

It’s just an absolute waste of a role I’m sure thousands of others are much more qualified to do.

Hey, if the Milwaukee Brewers just straight up go out and sweep the Rays in the World Series... At what point do we have to start having interesting... all time... conversations about a 103-59 team with a +214 run differential going (potentially) 11-1 in the postseason?

The bot behavior on this tweet has been insane. What happened here.

I know cross-sport comparisons aren't always one-to-one, but the parallels with Burrow, JaMarr, and Tee and the OKC KD, Westbrook, and Harden era are sort of interesting to me. A championship appearance very early in their timelines. Undeniable ceiling when they're all clicking.

Burrow is quieter, kind of an enigma but a generational talent. Chase is an unstoppable force, athletic freak who plays a half of a foot taller than he actually he is. And Tee could have been the one that got away; and he'd undeniably be a high-end WR1 anywhere else in the NFL.

I don't know what any of this means, other than random thoughts on a Monday morning. I think there are also pretty interesting Scott Brooks / Zac Taylor lines that you could draw too... Either way, just a reminder that these guys are special. Days like yesterday are one-of-one.

Nantz was downright openly disappointed when Huntley threw that pick lmao.

If Mahomes and Kelce made the play Burrow & Tee just did, Nantz would have needed a new pair of pants. He called the play like an approach shot by a T-20 golfer on a Saturday afternoon.
Is Jim Nantz awake?!?! A massive 4th down stop inside the 15 and he’s like quietly talking through it. WAKE UP JIM

Zac having to burn a timeout because he was too upset about a call yelling at a ref is probably going to get lost in the mess of this game, but that was extremely stupid.
