So hollow being a #MCFC fan. Spending billions but left with no identity. Foden and Haaland barely average these days. Centre backs being bullied by a 33 year old Kiwi. A coach with no plan B. There's a beautiful changing of the guard. The Rebel city #NFFC ❤️

Didn't play for Villa this season. Family come home. We're just down the road. He'd be a cult hero at #NFFC

Replying to @maxbscott
@maxbscott happy to come on this with you & have a right to reply. You've both agreed if we're in the bottom 3 in just 7 weeks he'll go. Emery, Mourinho, Enrique are elite. Can't really badge Glasner in that way. If you both don't think MGW welcomes a Jan move that's naive #NFFC
👏 Glasner was 'bang on' 😟 Will Marinakis be patient? 🙏 Time for unity @MattDavies_FF is joined by @maxbscott on today's podcast #nffc 🍎 Apple podcasts: tinyurl.com/2us82y5m 📱 YouTube: tinyurl.com/2w53mhsm

@maxbscott you also agreed that some selections like Ndoye make no sense and his substitutions show no trust in class players like Sangare and CHO. His rigidity is there for all to see. The issues go much deeper though and that's what I asked to be discussed. Eg Edu.

I agree the team bar one or two like McAtee are playing like they are half arsed. From playing you'll know that attitude comes from set up. Best performance was Liv away and they need to deliver something similar on Saturday.

looking at this list, you can probably argue that this is the first stressful job Ollie has had, where expectations of Board and supporters are typically wild. We're a bottom 5 prem club by trade. The mask has cracked a bit and I don't mind that. Shows a bit of fire #NFFC

6 from 9. Everything else is conjecture. Backing Glasner by criticising Vitor as a way to support him is a wild narrative. Focus on the here and now like Vitor had to. Putting 5 past Sunderland, 3 past Chelsea and 4 past Burnley often with the reserves #NFFC
I’m right that Vitor won ONE home league game against a relegation side. He made us more of a threat and took more risks than Dyche and we had a MGW inspired purple patch, right. Cause I loved Vitor but the way some talk he was the second coming of Cloughie! 🤦‍♂️ #nffc

Our predicament shouldn't be a surprise. Last two seasons we've not replaced our best player properly: - Elanga, Wood and Ando #NFFC we're a bottom 5 prem side by trade. Unfortunately this sorry group doesn't have the cajones for a scrap.

spot on this. Despite breaking our transfer record three times we've not properly replaced Ando, Elanga and 24/5 Wood. Not saying that's easy but we've missed by the width of the river Trent #NFFC
The biggest stumbling block we’ve had is recruitment. That first season or two we stumbled across projects that worked out with Murillo, Ando, Lodi, Elanga and plenty more. Since that successful 7th place finish we smashed our transfer record for Dan Ndoye, smashed it again later that summer with Omari Hutchinson and then went bigger at £45m for Delap this summer. That trio are our highest ever transfer fees. One just can’t get going, one looked lightweight and sent to Milan and the other looks massively over inflated at that price. We can gloss it up as much as we like but recruitment has let us down over the last 18-24 months and I always say you’re only ever 2-3 bad windows away from relegation. I do think we will be fine but that trio as our record fees tells a story. #NFFC

Tomorrow should be good. Big day and week for Ollie and I really hope he makes these weak minded players think hard. City at home is a match we typically turn up for. Sangaré needs to return to the line up along with Diomande, Munoz and Dominquez if fit. #NFFC

c. 14 matches before the Jan window shuts. By that point we'd be over indexing to make it to say 20 pts. To play the Glasner way we need a better keeper, lwb, cb, cm, 9 and a 10. Probably cost north of 200m for that. Morgs, Ndoye, Wood, Milo & Neco need to be moved on. #NFFC

The manager of #XGFC who pushed for Diomande and Delap. Plays a hopelessly out of form Milenkovic. Keeps picking Ndoye and Schlager. Can't change 'his' formation. Paid £36k a day. An ego #NFFC appointment, at a time when fans stood and applauded Vitor's speech post 🍒's.
🎙️ Oliver Glasner did not hold back... #NFFC 'Disappointing, frustrating, and not good enough at the end. We lost again, didn't score a goal. Conceded, especially the first goal, too easily, making mistakes in defence, and that's the story of the season so far. We're making too many mistakes, too many easy mistakes. It was the fourth goal we conceded from a long ball from the opposite goalkeeper... and just not aware enough. And then the other side, in our attack, we are creating, but we can't convert, and that means, right at the moment we are not good enough.' 'I don't think confidence. Again, if things always happen, then this is the pattern, and for me it's clear we have to change a few things. I have to change a few things, and that's what I will do. And then let's see if the players can change a few things because from day number one I could see. I never spoke about it, but I could see some things I didn't like. And maybe I made too many compromises, but now it's over because we can't continue in this way, so it means for me, no compromises. I will tell exactly how we want, where we want to go, and if the players buy in, it's okay, and if they don't, yeah maybe you can ask another manager then. Because again, for me it's just, it's very obvious, things have to change.' 'Of course, it's now the fifth manager and the same story like last year...' 'If it doesn't work, the sixth one will come in and it will be the same, and then it's the seventh one and it will be same....'

to not question the manager of XGFC at all is naive. He wanted Diomandé & Delap. One doesn't play much & the other is a step 3 striker. History doesn't always repeat itself. #NFFC has never been comfortable with a 3 unless it was a Nuno close out. 6 from 9.
"If it doesn't work, the sixth manager will come in and it will be the same... then the seventh and it'll be the same." A frustrated Oliver Glasner speaking after Nottingham Forest's 2-0 defeat to Brentford 🔊

At the Ipswich game I was told by many #NFFC fans that Schlager was fantastic. For me he was a back up to the midfielder we never signed. Our league position is a product of poor recruiting, high ego, and a load of fans who are more interested in their podcasts. We're shite.

Just saying #NFFC Need to change the formation
Did a relatively comfortable double over the 🐝 last season, so at some point we should be comparing how far we've come (5 months now under Ollie). #NFFC
