Steph is at the very end. They will not invest big again until he is gone. This is when they will pay big to get a younger star and put players around them.
DeMarcus Cousins SOUNDED OFF on the Warriors' front office 😳
"I think [Mike] Dunleavy has done a sh*t job as far as putting a roster around Steph Curry. Why this guy still has a job, I'll never know. They're still running the same outdated system as far as going extremely small... it doesn't work anymore. The system is outdated."

Coach Hanson retweeted
We had the opportunity to produce #SJUBB vs. Texas yesterday at MSG and wanted to be sure to remember our friend Kenny Klein.
Coach Pitino, the Johnnies and #L1C4 are honoring him in a special way this season.
Kenny & DK, we'll keep you close always.

Wait a minute here. Dude mad cause OA tried to run through the screen? 😂😂. What are we doing here? I guess his coach isn’t teaching there team to do this. All players are taught to run through screens if you can’t get over or under. NBA please do better. Lol

Alex Caruso says it has become “cool to not watch basketball,” arguing that highlight culture and viral storylines are overshadowing the actual game
Caruso believes basketball coverage has shifted away from breaking down great plays and showing fans the best moments from games toward chasing whatever generates the most clicks and attention. He says he misses the old SportsCenter format, where viewers could catch several minutes of highlights from different games before the Top 10 plays. Caruso argues that the focus on entertainment, clip farming and eye grabbing storylines is drawing attention away from the quality of basketball itself.
Of course. It’s Rick “ The Ruler” Pitino. He will have it no other way. Believe me i know!!!!!!!!
Stop rehearsing the version of life you don’t want and start rehearsing the version that makes you excited to wake up each day and move the needle with!
What some people don’t understand is we are in a new era. Schools don’t wait for the season to complete before offering a coach a contract. If a school sleeps when their coach is offered they can lose their coach. Just the times we are in.
Most definitely! Time is of the essence as they say. First big test of the new regime!
7-1 a PERFECT time to get a new deal for @CoachWillStein because the longer the wait— the more bidders that come in & the more the price goes up!
Coach P always figures it out. I played on his first team at UK. We didn’t have a center. At 6’7” 195 lbs i plays C, PF, SF on offense and had to guard 1-5 on defense. It’s about players willingness to make personal sacrifices in their games in order to win!
COLUMN: IN a new season, has St. John's gone from having 'a problem at point guard' to 'a problem at center?' Rick Pitino may already have the workaround. Plus items about the Storm and UBS Arena talking and recruiting. From @NewsdaySports: newsday.com/sports/columnist…. #sjubb
Tyrese is correct. Thats why it’s best for pro athletes to keep a low profile on how they move. LeBron has done that for years. To many athletes want to be all over social media then complain about what comes with that.
Tyrese Maxey says making friends is hard when everyone can look up his salary but he doesn’t know who to trust
“It is hard. I wouldn’t even just say to date. It’s hard to get friends and build relationships with people because of who you are. And, like you said, the internet is a crazy place now.”
“People can hide behind that screen and say whatever they want to say, and put whatever face they want to put on, and whatever body, whatever, you know. And they can change themselves.”
“And you can’t. Basically, everyone knows everything. Everybody knows who you are. Everybody can Google you, look up your salary, look up how much you make, look up where you live.”
“It’s a scary time, man. So you just gotta be careful. I try to be as careful as I can.”
Great win! 1 thing i learned during my 13 yrs coaching high DI is 1st you have to coach the players into becoming winners. Then after you start winning you have to coach them on how to handle winning. That’s what this game was about.
Teaching them to come ready from the start
