Over 80 Gunners have been alpine race training in France; experiencing a unique environment that is safe to fail, to learn, and through competition to succeed.

The 2024 Central Mess Dinner Night took place at The WO and Sgts’ Central Mess, marking the first event for RA Sgt Maj Lightfoot.
As part of this, the Hanson Cup was awarded to Sgt McCollum, a well-deserved recognition of her selfless commitment to the Gunners.

Army Major Units Cricket Champions! 🏆🏏.
Today @32RegtRA played 11 Signals Regt at the Army Cricket Ground in Aldershot in the Final of the Army Major Units Cup, winning by 85 runs for 32 Regt RA.
This achievement is the first in the Regts History - well done!

The sunny weather in Larkhill this afternoon has us thinking back to the summer!
It was a delight to join the Annual @CricketGunner vs @SapperCricket match in Chatham this year and to hear what the @Regt_Col_RA has to say about the importance of Army Sport.

‘Once a Gunner, Always a Gunner’
On the 12th June in France, overseen by the @Regt_Col_RA and RASM, soldiers from @26Regiment_RA buried two RA soldiers who fell in WWI. They were buried with full military honours - as befits their service and sacrifice.

Last month saw the Royal Artillery formally bring in two new weapons systems: ARCHER and TAIPAN. The event was marked by a Colours Parade at Larkhill, with @1stRegiment_RHA, @ScottishGunners and 5th Regt RA on parade as the receiving regiments.

This week a burial service took place for Serjeant John Smith and Gunner Charles Lightfoot. Both fell on 13 September 1914 and now lie in our care in Vendresse British Cemetery, France.
