To my fellow artists again.... How often do you use references? I feel like i should be doing it more than I do but i feel weird doing something similar to another persons art.

Would colouring in panels maybe help you become good at rendering your own art. Its a bit of a pain trying to draw on laptop first when i usually draw on paper then transfer. Is this a stupid question.
