In the middle of busy schedules, endless thoughts, and everything competing for our attention, it can be easy to miss what God is speaking. Sometimes we need to simply be still and know that He is God. Take a few moments each morning to quiet your heart, open your spiritual ears, and invite the Lord to speak through His Word and by His Spirit. You don’t have to rush into your day before listening to the One who already knows everything you’ll face. Just ask Him, “Speak, Lord. Your servant is listening.” Make room for His voice today. — Rick Renner

What is the goal of sound biblical teaching? It should never leave you endlessly chasing the next new revelation, idea, or spiritual experience. Instead, good teaching should produce real transformation in your life. Paul tells us that the goal of biblical instruction is love flowing from a pure heart. The truth we receive from God’s Word should affect the way we live and, especially, the way we treat the people around us. If what you’re learning is truly helping you grow in God, it should be evident in the way you love your spouse, your children, your friends, and others. Don’t just seek more information, let God’s Word change the way you live and love! Comment “TEACHING” and you’ll be sent the link to this full teaching! — Rick Renner

You are the person God wants to use. You may look at your circumstances and wonder if God could really use you, but He has a purpose for your life. You don’t have to have everything figured out or feel perfectly qualified. What matters is your willingness to say yes and make yourself available to Him. God wants to work through ordinary people to bring His love, hope, healing, and life-changing power to those around them. There is someone you can reach, encourage, pray for, or help today. Don’t underestimate what God can do through a life that is surrendered to Him. Make yourself available, step out in faith, and allow Him to use you to make a difference in someone else’s life. “The Miracles of Jesus Christ” is available now! One phrase appears again and again throughout the Gospels: Jesus lifted up His eyes. When thousands needed to be fed, Jesus lifted His eyes to the Father instead of focusing on the little that was in His hands. When impossible situations stood before Him, He deliberately shifted His attention from the problem to the One who had all power and all provision. What a lesson for us. It's easy to become consumed with what we can see — our circumstances, our limitations, or the challenges that seem impossible to overcome. But Jesus showed us a different way. Before He addressed the need, He first looked to His Father. His confidence wasn't rooted in what surrounded Him but in the faithfulness of God. My friend, perhaps today you've been looking down for too long. Lift your eyes again. Lift them above the bad report, above the fear, above the uncertainty, and fix them on the Lord. As your focus changes, your faith will begin to rise, because we always find hope when our eyes are fixed on Jesus. — Rick Renner Want To Go Deeper? Job made a remarkable statement when he declared, "I made a covenant with mine eyes." That wasn't a casual promise — it was a deliberate commitment to honor God with what he chose to look at. I believe every believer should make that same decision. Long before temptation becomes an action, it often begins with a glance that lingers too long. That's why Scripture repeatedly tells us to guard our eyes, refuse to set wicked things before them, and ask God to turn our eyes away from vanity. The battle isn't won in a single moment; it's won by the daily choices we make about what deserves our attention. Imagine how different our lives would be if we treated our eyes as something entrusted to us by God. Instead of allowing every image, headline, video, or distraction to compete for our attention, we would intentionally fill our minds with what builds faith, produces peace, and reflects the character of Christ. My friend, make a covenant with your eyes today. Ask the Lord to help you love what is pure, turn away from what is harmful, and keep your heart anchored in His truth. The things you consistently look at today will help shape the person you become tomorrow. — Rick Renner Want To Go Deeper? When we approach Jesus with faith, we can trust that He welcomes us with compassion, love, and power. He is not distant from those who are hurting or burdened. He invites us to come near and experience the freedom He brings. Whatever has held you captive, weighed heavily on your heart, or left you feeling wounded, Jesus is able to meet you right where you are. His embrace brings hope to the hurting and freedom to those who have been bound by life’s struggles. Faith reaches out to the One who never changes. Jesus is still setting people free, still restoring broken hearts, and still bringing healing today. “The Miracles of Jesus Christ” is available now! How do we end up so far from biblical truth? Often it doesn’t happen all at once. It happens slowly and methodically as people begin to drift away from the foundation of God’s Word and become increasingly open to ideas that contradict Scripture. The enemy doesn’t always present deception in an obvious way. He can package false ideas in ways that sound reasonable, appealing, and even spiritual — making them easier to accept and harder to recognize as error. That’s why we must stay grounded in the Bible. We need to know God’s Word well enough to recognize when something sounds good but doesn’t line up with the truth. Don’t allow yourself to be carried away by every new idea or teaching. Stay rooted in Scripture, test what you hear, and hold firmly to the truth of God’s Word! Comment “ROOTED” and you’ll be sent the link to this full teaching! — Rick Renner

We’re believing for a revival of the Bible in the Church! Scriptural error and false doctrine can lead people astray, but knowing God’s Word gives us a firm foundation and helps us recognize what is true and what is not. Even in the Early Church, the truth was under attack, and believers were instructed to “earnestly contend for the faith.” Today we’re seeing the reemergence of some of the same false ideas that challenged the Church in the First Century. It’s a time to press deeper into the Word of God, strengthen our foundation in truth, and refuse to be moved by teachings that contradict His Word. Let’s become people who know the Bible, love the truth, and stand firmly on God’s Word! Comment “REVIVAL” and you’ll be sent the link to this full teaching! — Rick Renner

When we read that God provides "a way of escape," we often imagine something dramatic, but the Greek word Paul uses simply means "a way out." Sometimes the miracle isn't that temptation disappears. Sometimes the miracle is that God gives us the wisdom and strength to walk away from it. Joseph understood this. When Potiphar's wife repeatedly tempted him, he didn't stay and argue with temptation. He didn't try to reason with it. He ran. He left his cloak behind and fled because he valued purity more than his reputation. There are moments in our lives when the most spiritual thing we can do is simply leave. Walk away from the conversation. Turn off the screen. End the unhealthy relationship. Remove yourself from the environment before temptation has an opportunity to take root. My friend, never mistake retreat from temptation for weakness. Sometimes walking away is one of the greatest demonstrations of spiritual strength. — Rick Renner Want To Go Deeper? One of my favorite verses about overcoming temptation is 1 Corinthians 10:13. Paul says there is no temptation that has overtaken any of us except what is "common to man." The Greek word simply means “ordinary.” In other words, the temptation you're facing isn't unique, and it certainly isn't greater than God's power. Sometimes we unintentionally make temptation stronger by talking about how impossible it feels, but Scripture encourages us to do the opposite. Instead of magnifying the temptation, magnify the faithfulness of God. Others have faced the same battle, others have overcome, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can overcome too. My friend, don't give temptation more attention than you give God's promises. The Lord is faithful, and He has already prepared the grace you'll need to walk in victory. — Rick Renner Want To Go Deeper? When you open your Bible, don’t read it alone — invite the Holy Spirit to read it with you. The Holy Spirit is the One who inspired Scripture, and He knows the Word better than anyone. Before you begin reading, take a moment to pray: “Holy Spirit, open my eyes and show me wondrous things out of Your Word.” God’s Word is alive, powerful, and full of treasures that we may miss if we simply read through the pages. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your understanding, reveal truth to you, and show you what God wants you to see. Make it a daily prayer: “Holy Spirit, open my eyes.” What a difference it can make when you read the Bible with the One who inspired it. — Rick Renner

Jesus warned that if our eye is "evil," our whole being can become filled with darkness. The Greek word He used describes something harmful, corrupt, or spiritually destructive. That should cause every believer to pause. The enemy rarely begins by attacking our actions. He often begins by seeking access to our minds. What repeatedly enters through our eyes eventually settles into our thoughts, our imagination, and our emotions. Left unchecked, those thoughts can become strongholds that influence how we see ourselves, others, and even God. That's why we must be intentional about what we allow into our lives. If something continually stirs fear, impurity, bitterness, or unbelief, don't give it permission to remain. You are not required to entertain every image or every voice that comes before you. My friend, guard your heart by first guarding your eyes. The light of God's Word will always produce freedom, but darkness only produces bondage. — Rick Renner Want To Go Deeper?
