There Is Sunshine in My Soul Today | The Tabernacle Choir youtu.be/zliwkcXzVaA?si=SWQb… via @YouTube
If your heart is aching and your spirit dim, as mine has been these past five days, listen to the song above to try to find the sunshine again.
This tragic fire in Millcreek is in my district. I am heartbroken families and individuals in 24 units have lost everything. The Red Cross has food, supplies, and cots at an LDS Ward at 1250 E. 4800 S. Our thanks to over 100 firefighters who saved lives. fox13now.com/news/local-news…
I am honored to receive the endorsement of Utah Tech Leads, the association that represents Utah’s tech industry—an industry that plays an important role in our state’s current and future economic success.
Getting signs out today, with help of daughter/campaign manager Heather and friends. Almost 50 so far…more to come. All placed at constituents’ homes. Let me know if would like one—HD 34. #campaign2024
Getting ready for campaign season! These are just the first batch. More coming! My signs are always placed with permission of the homeowner or businesses. Some wannabe lawmakers place signs illegally on public fences, freeway exits, and overpasses. This alienates voters.
Happy 4th of July! Great community breakfasts, kids’ events in Holladay and Millcreek. Sad we couldn’t make Murray’s parade. My campaign crew, my three fabulous daughters, and I visited with old friends and new. Concert and fireworks tonight at 8pm at Holladay Park. #LovetheUSA
One of my favorite things is speaking to teachers and touring our Capitol which I did last week with Sen. Kathleen Riebe, Rep. Doug Welton, and former Rep. Liz Weight for teachers attending the Huntsman Seminar in Constitutional Governance, sponsored by the Hinkley Institute.
My father, Newell McCarroll “Mac” Snarr, is one of the brave men and women whom we honor on Memorial Day. His B17 was shot down on a bombing run to Berlin, weeks before VE Day. My dad was 19, my mom was 20, I was 1, one of 180,000 children designated “war orphans.”❤️💔🇺🇸
Thank you Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce for honoring me as one of the legislators to receive your 2024 Business Champions Award! It is my 7th award from the Chamber! #supportlocalbusiness
It is always a pleasure to speak to college students and watch them engage by asking excellent questions. – at Holladay, UT
Today in POLS 3170 Interest Groups we benefited by hearing from @RepCarolMoss about her interactions with all different types of interest groups and their lobbyists, and how sometimes the most effective are citizens who engage on issues important to them. @UUtah @UofUPoliScience

There are not enough kind words that can be said about @RepCarolMoss who is a true champion for libraries, books, students, and education. We had to break into smaller teams at times to deliver awards, but no one was willing to miss this award delivery! @UtahLibraries @utculture

Replying to @RepCarolMoss
@RepCarolMoss underscored the importance of respecting school librarians and teachers in the debate on HB 29 Sensitive Material Review Amendments, stressing the need for individual parents to have the autonomy to decide what their children can read #utpol #utleg
It’s exciting to work with and support young people who want to bring attention to and work on issues that will make a difference in their future quality of life. – at Holladay, UT
Another veteran I proudly honor is my late husband, Robert “Bob” Moss, a proud Marine who served in Korea for two years. In 2015, Utah and S. Korea honored the surviving Korean War veterans in a ceremony at the Utah Capitol.
On this Veterans Day weekend, I honor my father Newell “Mac” Snarr who enlisted in the Army Air Corps to serve his country and died when his plane was shot down over Germany one month before Victory in Europe Day. 180,000 children, including me, lost their fathers in this war. 🇺🇸
The spectacular Golden Spike Monument pulled into the Utah State Capitol tonight from its cross country trip in Kentucky where it was sculpted by artist Douwe Blumberg. It is magnificent and honors the “faces of the faceless” workers who built the transcontinental railroad. – at Holladay, UT
This is the artist Douwe Blumberg who grew up in L.A., graduated from USC in art and now lives in Kentucky. You have to see this monument in person to really appreciate it.
