I am proud to reintroduce my Resolution in support of designating October 17th as National Vitiligo Awareness Day. In a world that is increasingly unkind about the things that make us unique, I will always stand with and support all who live with skin disease.

New Mexico is New Mexico, and you lost here three times because you're corrupt and don't care about working people.
You should be focused on ending this war, stopping these tariffs, and making things less expensive–not renaming our state.
New Mexico should immediately change its name to New America. We are not Mexico, we are the United States of America! The name would add great value and prestige to the State! Home Values and Incomes would rise, and you would be even prouder while saluting our beautiful American Flag! Maybe even the Crooked Elections, that New Mexico is known for, would become honest again!
President DONALD J. TRUMP

Since 1965, the number of Black members of Congress has grown from six to more than 60. Now, that representation is at risk. Six Black lawmakers spoke to Times Opinion about how gerrymandering threatens Black political power. nyti.ms/4yMxWnV
This profoundly outrageous, election-eve raid on the home of a sitting congresswoman by Trump’s politicized, weaponized federal law enforcement machine is a desperate attempt to intimidate Muslim citizens from voting. We must not let that happen! usatoday.com/story/opinion/c…
Throughout GA-04 and beyond, we recognize and celebrate the many cultures, histories, and contributions of Indigenous peoples. On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we recommit to honoring the communities and traditions that have endured across generations and continue to shape our country.
Everyone deserves access to the care, support, and resources they need to thrive. This World Mental Health Day, we recommit to ending the stigma and making mental health care more accessible to all.
On the third anniversary of the horrific October 7th attack that claimed more than 1200 lives, I continue calling for the immediate and permanent end to the bloodshed that continues to this day. We must never give up on the prospect of a lasting peace in the Middle East.
I am always grateful for the opportunity to speak with Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, President and CEO of Morehouse School of Medicine. The work that MSM has done for the greater Atlanta community and beyond, even despite cuts to federal funding and grants, is invaluable and encouraging. Thank you for stopping by!
Some good news for your Friday: 160 young women from the Atlanta-area flew in the 11th annual Women Inspiring Next Generation (WING) Flight. I will always advocate for increasing access to opportunity within our aviation space, and I am heartened to see such a great example of why this work matters right here at home. Congratulations to all involved!
Inspiring the next generation to reach new heights in aerospace! 🚀
Last week, 160 young women joined us for the 11th annual WING Flight with Delta Air Lines, Flight Works Alabama, Viola Davis Foundation & Bishop State Community College!
Participants took off on a journey through our U.S. manufacturing facility in Mobile, discovering how our #A320 aircraft come to life, chatting with shop floor experts, and connecting with senior leaders.

Wishing a happy birthday to T&I Democrat @RepHankJohnson 🎂🎉
A great day helping GA-04 families get one step closer to their next adventure.
Hundreds of constituents joined us for Passport Day at Stonecrest City Hall, and we were proud to help make the passport process a little easier for our community.
Thank you to everyone who came out!
Trump is claiming fraud as a pretext to throw 760,000 people off Obamacare. This is another example of Trump’s cruelty as he desperately tries to divert attention from his quagmire war of choice, Trump tariffs, and the high cost of gas, rent and groceries that his failed policies have caused. We will send Trump a message on Nov. 3.
Breaking News: The Trump administration has cut 750,000 enrollees from Obamacare, Vice President JD Vance said, claiming that many were receiving premium subsidies they did not qualify for and that some were not even real people. nyti.ms/4xJwhyn
The cost of diesel fuel is at a record high while Trump is encouraging big tech to continue building enormous data centers in our backyards. These consequences of Trumps’s self-serving polices and my Republican colleagues’ mindless support for them have become the reality for millions of Americans.
PabloReports: Congressman, did you get your DOGE dividend check? And if so, what’d you spend it on?
Johnson: Oh, boy. Guys, if I got a DOGE check, it means that there is ocean in Arizona.
And, you know, anybody who believes that they’re going to get a $5,000 check from Donald Trump will stand in line behind all of his other creditors for his Trump Towers and everybody else that he has stiffed. Trump University, everybody—just fraud. Straight-up fraud.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! This is a time to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic communities across GA-04 and our nation.
At our recent Ceremony of H.O.P.E. Awards, we were proud to honor the Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights (@GLAHR_ )for their continued work advancing justice and human rights in our communities.
This month and always, we celebrate the generations of Hispanic Americans whose leadership and contributions help make our country GREAT.

The International Criminal Court was established to investigate some of the most serious crimes against humanity, such as genocide and war crimes.
RM @RepHankJohnson questions why the Trump Administration is working overtime to undermine and dismantle the ICC as AI and cyber attacks present novel threats to mankind.
Wishing a happy and sweet new year and a meaningful Rosh Hashanah to the Jewish community in GA-04 and beyond. May the year ahead be filled with peace, joy, and new beginnings.
Sikh Americans, including many who call Georgia home, are hardworking and patriotic Americans who make our communities stronger. They deserve better than being targeted by an administration who’d rather stoke racial fears than focus on improving Americans’ lives.
