Happy to have presented HB 599 where it unanimously passed its final committee stop. This bill will make it easier to build solar and energy storage systems for our schools and is now its way to the House Floor.

Today when hiring a private investigator everyone except every day Floridians who want to hire one are exempt from paying a sales tax on the service. My bill HB 763 fixing that mistake and helping FL families just passed its first Committee stop.

Thank you to the PreK-12 Approps Subcommittee for unanimously passing my bill HB 599 that would make it easier for schools to install solar & storage systems. Glad to be working with @loriberman and @CLEOInstitute on this common sense legislation.

Florida will be ending our participation in the Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation will end on June 26th, 2021. This will apply to the bonus weekly $300 in federal benefits those on the program currently receive.

With less then 24 hours remaining until the end of session we now need to refocus on the “GAME”.

SB 184: The Purple Alert has passed the Florida House/Senate and is on its way to @GovRonDeSantis to be signed into law. Once in effect this new alert will go a long way in the attempt to find those with cognitive disabilities who are at risk of harm.

Happy Earth Day from House District 90. It's time that we start taking concrete steps to protect our planet not just today but every day.

HB 313 expanding the Firefighter Bill of Rights just passed the FL House. As a Firefighter for more than 3 decades I understand what they go through & how important it is to protect them. Thank you @RepDBC for running this good bill. I'm proud to be the Co-Prime Sponsor.
