SIGNED: My bill, the License to Drill Act, has officially been signed into law by @POTUS. For Utah and communities across the country, this legislation will reduce permitting delays, strengthen American energy production, help improve energy affordability, and support the U.S. in keeping up with growing energy demand. The future of American energy independence is bright.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to tour Texas Instruments’ semiconductor manufacturing campus in Lehi, alongside U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. The facility currently under construction has 750 construction workers on site and represents an $11 billion investment, featuring 620,000 square feet of cleanroom space. This massive project is part of TI’s broader $60 billion commitment to American manufacturing. It’s inspiring to see the future of American innovation and tech manufacturing right here in our backyard. Thank you to the team at Texas Instruments for hosting us and showing off the incredible work being done to power the technology of tomorrow.

Always great to be back at BYU—a place where I spent so many meaningful years. It was a privilege to tour campus with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer during his visit to Utah. Thank you, Ambassador Greer, for your time and for an insightful conversation on federal trade policy and our 'America First' trade priorities.

The relocation of the U.S. Forest Service to Utah is pragmatic, effective governance. We know by bringing leadership to the West, we would better align federal efforts with those who truly understand our lands and the solutions they require. Instead, a judge has blocked Utah’s opportunity to lead and deliver—not just for the West and our unique needs, but for the benefit of all America.

As Utah leads the way in protecting our children from the harms of social media and AI, I am working to ensure the federal government is an active partner in those efforts. That is why I am co-leading the Protecting Kids from Human-Like Chatbots Act. Human-like AI chatbots pose significant emotional, psychological and safety risks by mimicking real human relationships. AI needs to be a tool, not a friend. This bill sets clear boundaries for how chatbots interact with our children and puts parents fully in charge of these features.

This is a major win for Utah and America. This bill will help reduce permitting delays, strengthen American energy production, help improve energy affordability, and make sure the U.S. can keep up with growing energy demand.

Rep. Mike Kennedy, M.D. retweeted
198 House Democrats OPPOSED the Stop Insider Trading Act, which bans shady stock trading by Members of Congress AND ensures Americans show a valid ID to vote. Today, Senate Democrats BLOCKED it. Never forget: The overwhelming majority of Democrats vote to ALLOW corruption and fraud. Shameful.

Growing up, I learned firsthand that understanding money isn't just a useful skill—it’s the foundation for building a stable, confident future. That is why the mission behind the Utah Community Credit Union resonates so strongly with me. What started in 1955 with seven BYU faculty members pooling $35 of their own money to support local families has grown into an institution employing over 600 people. Through all that growth, UCCU has stayed true to its core purpose of empowering Utahns with the financial literacy they need to strengthen their lives and achieve lasting financial security.

ARUP Laboratories is the nation’s largest non-profit reference lab. Their thousands of staff process tens of thousands of specimen tests daily for hospitals and health systems nationwide. Once again, America wins when Utah leads. Thank you to their leadership team for having me out to see the lab and learn about the comprehensive testing being done there.

It was great to meet with my friends at the Utah Hospital Association and discuss our shared commitment to strengthening healthcare across the Beehive State. We had a productive conversation about the Rural Transformation Fund to support our rural communities, cutting unnecessary red tape to streamline care, and fighting to ensure that every patient in Utah receives the most affordable healthcare possible.

239 years ago today, our Founders signed the greatest charter of liberty ever written, establishing the most prosperous and free nation in history.  Benjamin Franklin famously reminded us that we have “a republic, if you can keep it.” Today, the responsibility to keep it is as important as ever. The freedoms secured by our Constitution must be protected and passed on to the next generation.
