West Virginia’s small businesses make our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
I’m proud to highlight Laurel Fork Farm in Bowden for being named one of America’s top 100 small businesses by @USChamber.
They’re an educational farm keeping Appalachian traditions alive and teaching visitors about agriculture and good land stewardship.
Congratulations!
“Do not be afraid to go out on the streets and into public places, like the first Apostles... This is no time to be ashamed of the Gospel. It is the time to preach it from the rooftops.”
— Saint John Paul II, speaking at World Youth Day in Denver, 1993.
A happy feast to all!

Please join me in praying for Coach Huggins and his family during this difficult time.
He is a Mountaineer legend and West Virginia will always remember his 16 seasons as head coach. May God grant Coach Huggins and his loved ones strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

PROUD to celebrate with @SecretaryBurgum as we mark the signing of my bill to make Chiricahua Arizona’s FOURTH national park!
Thank you, @POTUS, for signing this historic legislation and helping make Chiricahua our nation’s 64th National Park! A once-in-a-generation achievement to preserve this Arizona treasure for generations to come!
Today, I’m excited to announce that @USDOT’s CRISI program has awarded WV nearly $35 million in federal funding to repair and modernize two of our railroads.
The first project dedicates over $25 million to repair 20 bridges, replace rails, and install new safety sensors along the A&O Railroad between Grafton, Philippi, Buckhannon and Burnsville.
The second project will put upwards of $9 million toward replacing 10 miles of worn-out track on the South Branch Valley Railroad in Grant, Hardy and Hampshire counties.
Both projects will help ensure local businesses can continue to bring their goods to market and support jobs across our great state.
I am proud to support the CRISI program through my work on @HouseAppropsGOP.
Grateful that @FEMA opened a Disaster Recovery Center at Bridgeport City Hall today.
Many Mountaineers are still reeling from the severe storms and devastating flooding that hit our state this summer.
This center will provide direct, in-person assistance to Harrison County families and can help them access the federal resources that @POTUS has made available to help West Virginians recover.
Starting tomorrow, the center will be open from 7:30 AM–4 PM, Monday through Saturday.
My office also stands ready to help anyone affected by these floods. Please don’t hesitate to call us if we can be of assistance.

Great getting to visit with @wrenbaker and @WestVirginiaU President @michaeltbenson today! We talked all things Mountaineers and discussed how important it is to get the Save College Sports Act passed when Congress is back in session.
Oh, and it was awesome to tour Hope Coliseum too!

A Princeton Ph.D. in chemical engineering. 2,300+ job applications. Still no job while companies import thousands of cheap foreign workers every year to do these very same jobs.
This is insanity. These programs are a COMPLETE SCAM. Stop selling out American workers. END THEM NOW!
Jack Weis has applied to more than 2,300 jobs since he graduated from Princeton in 2024 with his Ph.D. in chemical engineering. He still doesn’t have a job. on.wsj.com/4sfxSLc
Last weekend, West Virginians gathered at the West Virginia Fallen Firefighter Memorial to honor the brave firefighters who gave so much in service to others.
We remember Danville Volunteer Firefighter Steven Griffith and Wheeling firefighters J. Gregory Hinzey and Matthew McGovern.
We will never forget their sacrifice, service, or legacy.
