Last night, alongside @SenTedBuddNC, @RepChuckEdwards, @RepTimMooreNC, @NCAuditorBoliek, @DanielforSenate, Representative Gillespie and @WhatleyNC we were honored to host a policy summit around hurricane recovery in Western North Carolina. Stakeholders from across Western North Carolina gathered to share governmental barriers that are standing in the way of rebuilding WNC and receive updates from speakers on current status of ongoing recovery projects. Over 150 attendees attended in person and just under 10,000 residents across Western North Carolina joining by phone. A special thanks to all the many attendees, @WLOS_13, and our speakers.
