This should have been so easy to stop. Starting to wonder if this is actually part of the plan. US is best positioned for an energy crisis. European libs will be ejected by being tied to a rocket. Asian libs will be killed in an internment camp. China will be stymied and possibly their housing bubble financial system collapses. Is this how we win???

I think the plan is to get researchers to start using their AI with a limited compute budget, then once they have all the academic data, they’ll basically steal all their ideas from underneath them and run the research internally with their unlimited compute budget!

More high-tech jobs are coming to East Tennessee! TRISO-X (@xenergynuclear) has announced plans to expand operations in Oak Ridge, TN, with a new nuclear fuel manufacturing facility and research and development center. The project represents a significant investment in the region and is expected to create 1,140 new jobs. The project is the result of collaboration among the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (@TNECD), the U.S. Department of Energy (@ENERGY), the East Tennessee Economic Development Agency (@ETEDA), Roane County (@RoanecoTNgov), City Of Oak Ridge (@cityofoakridge), Oak Ridge Electric Department and TVA’s Economic Development team. Supporting economic development is one way TVA fulfills its mission of service by helping attract investment, create jobs and improve quality of life across the Tennessee Valley.
