I'm not even going to pretend otherwise. Seeing Manchester United sitting 18th during the international break feels absolutely fantastic. 😂
After everything we've heard from United fans about Manchester City, the 115 charges, how we're supposedly guilty, how we should be punished, stripped of our achievements and even relegated, it's nice to see their own club having a taste of reality.
The amount of confidence some of these fans have had talking about City's future, acting like United could never find themselves in trouble, has been something else.
And now look at the league table.
I'm sure some United fans will find a way to blame Manchester City for this too. Apparently, everything is our fault these days. The 115 charges, the state of football, the Premier League and now United sitting in the relegation zone. Maybe we're responsible for their results as well? 😂
I'm not saying this is the end of their season, but I'm certainly going to enjoy this moment. For once, I don't have to listen to them telling us where we belong. They're currently sitting in the relegation zone themselves.
Maybe think twice before celebrating another club's potential downfall.
Because karma has a funny way of coming around.
