Tried out riven first nexus night of the season and good lord this deck plays on rails, it’s like irellia with a way higher floor and 0 skill expression… also the mirror is so lame whoever sees heron vs doesn’t or Stella vs doesnt is so turbo favoured
And with that closed vendetta first in my province, happy to have improved my win rate and consistency over unl went from 77% to 83%. Played every skirmish on a different deck too! Rengar Jayce Kennen ornn. Radiance format I’m gonna lock in on just 1 deck and see how I can do
R3 master yi 1-2 got blown out g1 to charms and rampages yi otp isnt very fun for ornn, g2 i blew him out g3 suprise whiteflame + star spring cooked me
R2 irellia standard build 2-1 , g3 I just got there by 1 might to push for game had to play around ride on the second side
R1 ivern 2-0 , laddering little guys is back breaking for ivern , g2 I had twilight shroud early to blow out a kennen hold, also had a decently early aspiring g2 to get back a steraks that was raked
Another 3-0 nexus night, played Leblanc the best of La list. This deck still feels extremely bait and fraudulent, it completely folds to itself majority of games. I also don’t think Leblanc is well positioned meta wise atm

Might be a hot take but I think at the bare minimum koko should be banned from the rc’s this season as punishment. In most tcgs like one piece you would get a full year ban or even 2 hopefully @riftboundop takes a firm stance on this and sets a precedence going forward

Overall an improvement from Vancouver. Jayce aurora is such a doggy deck I’m just coin flipping mu’s and trying to high roll I’m not actually playing the game
4-2 at super Saturday on jayurora was going to do mains but had really bad heart burn randomly and only got 1h of sleep so figured main would be a waste managed to get another metal with some help from friends

Took kennen to skirm today and managed to make it to top 4 undefeated on 3h sleep sadly got blown out in top 4 in the mirror g3, opponent saw yellow decree and looped me back to the stone ages, I was greedy and didn’t put yellow decree in my side as I didn’t expect to see kennen
