The #Knicks got their first win, but are still shooting under expectation. Their worst shot-making night came in their win last night.

vs PHI: −.19
@ BOS: −.20
vs ORL: −.17
vs DET: −.28
Entire 2025-26 Season: +.06

Brunson and Bridges clearly have struggled the most, and the numbers back it up.

Brunson
22-23: +.14
23-24: +.13
24-25: +.14
25-26: +.12

The #Knicks offense has struggled to start the season, ranking 28th in points per possession, ahead of only the #Hornets and #Bulls.
But despite the slow start, they’re still generating quality looks, with their shot quality up in nearly every zone compared to last regular season. The shots just aren’t falling.
While they haven’t put together a full 48 minutes yet, parts of the process are there. The makes will come eventually.

The #Knicks open their title defense tonight against the #76ers. Of the last seven champions, none even made it back to the Finals the following season. Can New York break that streak and become the first repeat champion since the 2017-18 Warriors?

Four months ago today, the New York Knicks became NBA Champions - a moment none of us will ever forget 🏆
One of Drummond’s biggest strengths last season was defending ball handlers in pick-and-roll situations. Through two preseason games (small sample), he’s allowed an excellent 0.778 PPP in those situations, according to @SynergySST.
We’re back! The #Knicks championship defense starts tonight as they take on the #76ers.
Here’s a quick look at the two new Knicks and how they fared last season.

After 53 years of heartbreak, your New York Knicks are back on top of the basketball world once again! 🧡💙
A huge thank you to @JCMacriNBA and @KnickFilmSkool for giving me the opportunity to be part of the KFS team and cover a season that none of us will ever forget.
