#Juneteenth is a day to celebrate the moment that those who were enslaved in Texas were finally informed of their freedom, 2 years after the emancipation proclamation.
Today we celebrate the end of a sinful, evil legacy, and look ahead to the work that's left to do.
Although there are many ways to get involved in what we're doing here at The Rhoda Foundation, a specific way you can partner with us is by giving financially toward our startup fund!

When God gives us dreams.. passions... vision for what He has called us to, we know that nothing can stand against the work of His Spirit who is paving the way forward.
Lord, give us your vision, and give us the strength to choose you every day.
We serve a God who is infinitely creative, compassionate, intentional, and strong. He has created each human being in His image for a unique purpose and calling in this moment of history and time.

What a beautiful mystery is God's sovereignty over our lives.
We can seek comfort in Him for how he knows what's ahead, how he provides for us, and for how His presence never waivers, but is a constant stream of grace.
