Hey shiny cardboard lovers I'm here again to purvey some maybe useful information to you all As you know @BandaiNamcoUS will be releasing a Naruto TCG in 2027 I think it will do relatively well and we are seeing anime/manga tcg's being the scions of the new generation of this ecosystem. Much like what is happening with One Piece TCG when symbiosis is achieved success follows and there's a solid base of collectors and players to enjoy themselves. When this happens what follows suit is a speculation of past provenance (Og, Vintage, 1st edition, rookie etc). For me personally i like to be ahead of the curve and most the time i am just that. In my efforts to be as such, I've been speculating the forecast for 2 things. 1: Naurto Mythos 1st edition Konoha Shido booster boxes/cases. It's a smaller European market release and not a Bandai product however markets love "1st edition" anything and given this is one of many precursors to the official Bandai release i will be paying attention to it. Personally I've only bought a few cases and a few sealed booster boxes. I will note there's even older Naruto TCG iterations so i wouldn't even call this OG/Rookie or any vernacular adjacent to those adjectives. To me its worth keeping a finger on this sets pulse. 2: Naruto Mythos TCG Naruto 22k Gold Serialized #/2000 If i ever speculate and feel any kind of bullish sentiment i will ALWAYS look at the card in the set for compounding value if any exists. So this card to me was a easy pick for the most obvious reasons: A - It's 22k gold B - It's the main character Serialized C: Low pop > the printing process and card material have beaten these cards up even pack fresh most edges and surfaces have blemishes, abrasions, gold foil flaking. I'm not 100% convinced that this does well but I personally feel okay exposing some liquid to cover my bases in the case that I'm right (I usually am). History doesn't repeat itself but it often rhymes.
