#cdnpoli #polqc

How much louder must we scream for the world to finally act decisively to stop this? While we were clinging to hope over the Oleshky evacuation — relief feels like the wrong word — russia struck a train station in Dnipro, reportedly killing 13 people. How many more lives must be lost?

Dear Mr Hoekstra, It will be our joy and pride to take the blame for your loss in the midterms. You threatened to annex us, you promised economic force, you breached CUSMA and imposed tariffs that cripple our industries, you insulted our country and our elected leaders, you want to erase the border, you supported Alberta separatists and celebrated the Parti Quebecois win…. And now you blame us cause your own people turned against you?? Your arrogance and bullying won’t intimidate us. We will be happy to support even your impeachment. Thank you for your consideration to this matter

🛬 Touchdown in Montréal 🇨🇦 Rarely have I looked forward to a Summit this much. An ocean separates Europe and Canada. Yet we have never felt closer. We have a new ambition: bringing Canada closer to us than ever before, as Associate Member of the EU. And we want to take our unique partnership even further. With an Alliance for the Future, we will stand together and respond to a world of growing rivalries. Montréal, we’re about to write a new chapter in our shared history.

I have got to be honest. I dont think we are anywhere near the end of the war in Ukraine. Russia shows no signs of being willing to compromise or being reasonable or realistic. Now they apparently raise a demand that the rest of Eastern Europe have to leave NATO. And they still want to have all of Ukraine. Europe is not going to abandon hundreds of millions of people in Eastern Europe to live under Russian tyranny again. We are ten times stronger than Russia and we are not going to agree to such insane demands. Russia is on the defensive in Ukraine. Over the past six months they have lost - not gained - territory. Their oil refineries are destroyed. Their economy is being crippled and there is no victory in sight for them. Compared to Europe they have a small population and a very small and not very advanced economy. The only problem is that Russia does not understand this and continues to act like they can bully and threaten their way to dominance over a Europe that is so much stronger than them. We want peace. Of course. Since the fall of the USSR we have shown no aggression to Russia but have only wanted to live as good and peaceful neighbours. There is literally nobody in Europe that wants war with Russia. It is a mindset that does not exist. But we are not going to surrender to Russia's insane idea that their weak country has a right to rule half of Europe. As long they stick to that, there will be no settlement. So the war will probably continue for a long time which is a tragedy and a disaster.

Trump appeared before a large audience and began loudly insulting Norway—labeling the country a "toilet" and a "shitty dump"—because Norway had refused to award him the Nobel Prize. Unless the Americans take the microphone away from him, by the end of his term, Trump will have managed to fall out with every single country on earth—with the exception of Vanuatu; and that only because he cannot pronounce the name. t.me/MirovichMedia/15677

I am confident in saying this, there is not a single leader of any nation that actually respects Trump. A few may fear the power of the US, but that isn't respect. Others, like Netanyahu & Putin, play him like a fiddle, that isn't respect. America's allies are disgusted by his antics, that isn't respect. All, see his stupidity, corruption & willful ignorance, perfectly called out by Mark Carney. There is no respect, don't fool yourselves MAGA, the world is shaking its head, or laughing at you & your worthless buffoon of a leader.

There is a war in Ukraine because Russia invaded Ukraine. Putin can end the war tomorrow by withdrawing his troops. No American would surrender 20% of American territory for “peace.” Nor should we demand that of anyone else.

Trump thinks, we, Canadians, do not deserve our universal healthcare system. Donald, WE pay the taxes. We make sure the poor, the downtrodden, the weak and the vulnerable get the same medical care as the rich, the lucky and the privileged. We have equality, mercy, justice and humanity as values. You and your voters do not. My father is a surgeon, and he got 3 heart attacks working his heart out for any patient that came under his care. Weeks that lasted from 80-100 hours of work. Never becoming a millionaire ;what almost all surgeons are in the USA. So shut up, you are insulting my father, and doctors and nurses all across Canada that are working under stress and hardship to keep our values alive. And you insult all Canadians! #cdnpoli #onpoli #polqc

No More Masquerade: The Chilling Reality of the Trump-Putin Alliance In this Clip, Trump tells us Putin wants a peace deal more than Zelensky—yes, he went there! Aging (to be polite) removes inhibitions, and Trump's mask is disintegrating before our eyes. THE KREMLIN'S CROSSHAIRS What is behind it? His support for Russia's dictator, Vladimir Putin, who helped him win the 2016 elections (and 2024?). Trump, according to many intelligence sources quoted in respected publications (Washington Post, Politico, The Guardian, The BBC, etc...) has been recruited and cultivated by Moscow as an asset for decades. Since the start of his second mandate, all his decisions have favoured Russia rather than Ukraine—some even rather than ...the USA ! For example, he just denied that Russia financed the weaponry used by Iran to kill Americans, when his own intelligence asserted that they did. SURCHARGES AND SANCTIONS: HOW TRUMP BECAME PUTIN'S ULTIMATE LEVERAGE As for Ukraine, since he came into power in 2025, Trump froze all new financial and humanitarian aid to them. Grudgingly honoring past contracts for military equipment, Trump tries to pressure Ukraine into giving in to Putin by: Delaying delivery as much as possible Freezing shipments temporarily at auspicious moments for Russia Banning pre-approved weapons like long-range missiles (Vlad does not like them much...) While imposing strict delays and restrictions on previously approved weapon shipments to pressure Kyiv into peace negotiations, the administration has blocked the use of long-range missiles inside Russian territory. Since the USA under Trump no longer sells arms directly to Kiev, Ukraine obtains them through third parties that pay for them, like NATO, Europe, Canada, etc. Trump, ever the gentleman, charges 10% more for Ukraine-bound weapons... Another gift to Putin. SQUEEZING UKRAINE INTO BLINDNESS Trump's latest iteration to squeeze Ukraine is threatening to cut off this system—leaving them without US weapons replenishment financed by allies. And the cherry on top: if Kyiv does not stop bombarding energy targets in Russia, no more intelligence feeds for her! She would not go completely blind, and could still fly her drones into Russia, but there would be a crucial gap in her capacity to localize targets, making her more vulnerable. THE OHIO VOTE VS UKRAINIAN LIVES You wonder, after reading this exhausting list, now, where is the list of demands Trump made on Russia? What did he threaten Russia with, for instance, if they kept hitting energy targets in Ukraine? (Human targets, Trump does not care about; they have no impact on oil prices and farmers' votes in Ohio). Surely, he menaced the Kremlin King with something??? At least a few burst Onion Domes in a village along the Neva? One, at least, to save face—for appearance's sake? No, not one. And nothing at all. BURST ONION DOMES AND THE GHOST OF POTEMKIN I told you: the mask is off, the masquerade is over. The cards are played and on the table. Trump's brain descent into the grave has had the merit of destroying his Potemkin facade. Nobody now can deny the alliance to which Trump is beholden: the one with Russia. Moreover, it is a relationship of suzerain to vassal, for even with Russia bled dry, Putin finds leverage to bend a strangely docile Trump to his ends... "Na vsyo volya Bozh'ya"—Everything is Russia's will now, and Trump is just another piece on Putin's chessboard. Shout out to: Oskar Górzyński, a great reporter, from Poland who kept at Donald Trump, and taught us a timeless lesson of journalism : the value of not giving up. @OskarGieOskar #cdnpoli #Ukraine
Here's my full exchange with @realDonaldTrump where he said Putin wants to make a deal more than @ZelenskyyUa PAP: How are you going to make Putin abide by the ceasefire? TRUMP: I think what's happening is he wants to make a deal, and we have to get Zelensky to want to make a deal. PAP: Based on what? TRUMP: Where are you from? PAP: Poland TRUMP: You know your president (@NawrockiKn) is a good friend of mine. I endorsed him and he won. PAP: I know that. But... TRUMP: So it can't be too bad (inaudible) PAP: But where... where do you see his willingness to make a deal when he's striking Ukraine, striking ships? TRUMP: I think they're going to make a deal. I think actually Putin wants to make a deal more than Zelenskyy

Quebec has had regular, democratic elections since 1792. French-Canadians (Quebecois) therefore do not fear government and the role it plays in their lives. I feel sorry for Cuban-Americans who fear and loathe government.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o…

🇺🇸🇨🇦Canada just dumped U.S. cars. Americans got the bill. Yes, the tariffs Trump imposed on the auto sector are taking a toll. But the biggest victim of this policy is found south of the 49th parallel, according to a report by Fortune magazine. Their main customer, Canada, is gradually turning away from them. From 2021 to 2025, about 40% of new vehicles sold in Canada were U.S.-built. When Trump launched his trade war in 2025, that share dropped to 35.4% during the first six months. And this year, during that same period, that share fell to 28.4%! A loss of some 12 percentage points in market share in just a year and a half... And the Canadian market is so vital to the United States that it outweighs the next ten largest markets combined. This decrease in sales, compounded by the tariffs, inevitably impacts vehicle prices and jobs. A vehicle hit from all sides by tariffs on its many Canadian-made components can cost an average of $6,000 more. With lower sales come lower production levels and a reduced need for staff. Consequently, since Trump took office, 75,000 manufacturing jobs have vanished, including 25,900 in the automotive sector. Impact on Trump Is Trump aware of these figures? Is he being shielded from them? And even if he did know, would he take them into account? One can assume not, given that since day one of his presidency, almost every decision he has made has disadvantaged the average American—and undermined the United States' standing as a global power. One might quibble over his motives for acting against his country's interests, but not over the negative impact of his choices. And yet, I ask you: are Americans aware that their president is working against them? (Information gathered from the Fortune article in the second post.) 1/2 #cdnpoli #uspoli @FlavioVolpe1
