Also, the fact is that for decades the great political attraction of the US was a physical and intellectual market economy producing music, popular clothing, literature, and so on.
Jazz, jeans, Kerouac, & Sinatra are all gone. All that is left is the threat of violence.

Many rich people think they're better than us plebs, and democracy has gone too far.
They will take democracy from us without a second thought.

We pay politicians to represent us, then we allow them to take donations from private individuals and corporations to represent them against our interests.
How is that not corruption?

A single unelected tech oligarch shouldn’t be able to make life-and-death decisions about America’s national security.
After Elon Musk posted on X saying he had throttled Ukraine’s use of Starlink after it was used for offensive attacks, House Armed Services Committee member Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) says the billionaire’s ability to wield that power is “beyond disturbing to me.”
“It cannot and should not be the case that a tech oligarch, a private citizen, who has that much control over our national security, who is unaccountable, who is unelected, with zero transparency, is making life and death decisions on the battlefield in systems that our service members and our partners and allies rely upon,” he adds.

He says this, exactly, every election.
A pale, sick, and hysterical-looking Netanyahu filmed here saying that “They are trying to steal the election from us" and that Arab turnout in the south is “incomparably higher” than among Jews, and Tibi and Abbas say “our voters are flocking to the polls.” The numbers for the Likud strongholds are awful and he is in serious trouble.

20,000 and counting. It’s time to expose the full truth about Britain’s complicity in genocide.
Our petition for a public inquiry into Britain’s role in Gaza has hit 10,000 signatures.
Now, let’s get it to 100,000 to force a debate.
The public deserves to know the full scale of Britain’s complicity in genocide.

We just aren't doing enough to stop Israel.
We aren't. The genocide continues. Brutally so.
It's not that anything we are doing is wrong, it's just that it's not enough.
Not at all.
We have to do things we haven't done yet.
Otherwise Israel won't stop.
They won't.
You know where all the criminals are now?
- Finance.
And once they bring the world, again, to the brink of total economic collapse, who will bail them out?
- I don't know know, but it won't be pretty.
EL-SAYED: I get that the President takes personal offense to my first name. He doesn't mind as much when it's the Saudis who are funding his son-in-law's private equity. Doesn't seem to mind as much when it's the Qataris who are giving them a $400 million private jet. He just seems to have trouble pronouncing it when it's my name.
I don't care how he pronounces my name. I don't even care that he remembers my whole name. Because he can just go on and call me senator after November.
